I went here to get chocolate covered strawberries for my sister in the hospital and the staff was very friendly and attentive to me from the moment they saw me headed their way. I got 3 cones of milk chocolate covered strawberries, and I will say that while they were yummy, the strawberries were inconsistent in size and were on the rather small size overall. I’m glad I got 3 cones since they were all so small.

I’ve been a regular Godiva customer for many years, but this was only the second time I’ve been to this specific location and both times I have been treated with utter disrespect. It seems like they only treat certain types of customers one way, and customers of other ethnic backgrounds a different way. Shame on them. Yesterday, we went to shop and was shown a sample of the Raspberry Caramel Duet. We absolutely adored the product and requested to purchase 5 pieces of it for our 16 piece box. When we went home to enjoy some of the chocolates, we realized the sales associate gave us the regular Dark Chocolate Caramel Duet for all five pieces. We went back and explained what happened to the exact same associate and she said that we were lying and there was«no way» they could’ve ever shown or sampled that to anyone. Perhaps it was an accident that one of the pieces sampled happened to be the Raspberry one, but either way, I think a NORMAL response to a mistake was an apology and asking us if we’d like to exchange or refund for the mistake. Instead, she glared at me, raised her voice at me, and then claimed that I was a liar in front of 20 other customers. I asked for the store manager and she said«FINE, he’s right over there! You can go right over there yourself!!» I asked the store manager how it was possible to have a sales associate acting so rude and inappropriate, and he didn’t seem to care at all. His response was«well then what do you expect me to do?» In addition, when I was speaking with the manager the sales associate told another sales associate to help her glare at us. That is the most immature, ridiculous behavior I have witnessed at a retail store that’s considered of higher quality and service. Perhaps there is a serious lack of customer service training, which is disappointing because my first job was as a sales associate at Godiva and I remember how much my manager at the time stressed the importance of the Godiva customer service standard. We would have never called a customer a liar, let alone yell at them. Go shop at See’s Candies instead.

There is nothing and no one that does chocolate like Godiva. It is strange for me to say this because I don’t like chocolate. When I into Godiva, I typically get white chocolate with some kind of fruity center. LOVE it! I tried their mint chocolate and I have falling in love. Still not a chocolate fan but I like that chocolate and white chocolate.
