Love Dr. Mehta! I like that she explains things to me in detail so I really feel like I know WHY we are doing certain things. I like that the appointments are quick — when you are going to the doctor every 2 – 3 days, it’s important that I not be there forever so I can get to work. The front desk staff is very nice and always remembers me. Most of the nurses are great and blood draws are usually quick and accurate. I’ve had surgeries in the surgery center that have gone well and everyone on that«side» is nice too. Dr. Mehta is cautious and follows very up to date protocols to make as many of her patients successful as possible. I have my frozen transfer next week and am looking forward to editing this review to say I’m pregnant! :)

Dr Mehta was recommend by a close friend. My first visit was great. I was filled with hope and Dr Mehta and her nurses made me feel very comfortable. Over time I felt like there was a lack of communication and occasionally I felt like my appointments were rushed. I completely understand that doctors have many appointments and busy schedules. I can be patient but there is a limit to my patience. After a few months of not getting pregnant I began to get frustrated. Not at them but at the situation. I would feel like a fertility clinic that deals with frustrated hormonal women, there would be some understanding when some one starts to break down a little bit but instead I was treated like I had lost my mind. After that, communication continued to break down and I was actually having to remind the doctor why I was there that day. Again I understand you have a busy schedule but at least show me the respect of reading my chart before you come into the room. I started to feel like I was a problem they had to deal with versus being a patient they were trying to help. Once I finally decided to leave I asked to get my records. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The nurse however was very harsh and flat out rude. Getting my records was very difficult and the nurse was very ugly and hateful. I get that it takes time to get your records but that doesn’t mean you should abuse your power and wait til the very last minute to get it done. If at some point in time I felt like I was treated like a person, instead of a problem, then I may have been a little more understanding. I would not recommend them to anyone. I am sure other people have had better experiences and my friend has a beautiful son because of Dr Mehta but I did not have a good experience and I will never be back.
