Floyd”s 99 Barbershop

Love this place, especially John. John has cut my hair as well as my four boys (11,9,7, and 5). He is super patient and takes his time letting the boys give their feedback as he goes along. I truly can’t say enough good things about John and the establishment.

We gave this place a second chance. The first time we came in they were extra rough on both my kids. Probably trying to move things faster vs doing things the right way. Second time, one of my sons refused to go and the other kid ended up with nicks/​red abrasions all over the back of his neck and one side of his cheek. This was after i told them to be gentle. My son walked out of the store crying. This so happens that «barber» who cut my sons hair — JOHN was also the store manager so my complaint fell on deaf ears. He could have cared less. His response was «What do you want me to do?». I told him to apologize to the kid… He went on to say that this is how it is. HELLO! We didn’t just fall off the turnip truck.
I took pictures to backup my claim. The lady at the front desk also said «this looks bad».
If I were the owner of this store, I would fire this manager ASAP. Zero customer relationship skills.

They don’t take appointments after 5pm they said but yet stay open til 9pm and don’t see that in their website. Can do a 30 min call ahead which is a joke, at least for the main and tollway location. Liked a particular stylist but doubtful I’ll come back to her. The girls that work the front have always been self-​involved. Gonna try another place.

First time to this Floyd’s and I will definitely be going back! Ericca was amazing! I was unsure about what haircut I wanted and she gave me the confidence to go for it. Whenever I was unsure about this or that she offered her professional advise. This was by far the best experience I’ve had getting a haircut!
I wish my hair would grow faster just so I can get it cut again!!!

In from out of town – they did a great job with a standard modern military cut. It’ll get me through until I get home, and keep me looking good until I’m back in my normal barber’s chair. I’d come back here again.

I moved to Frisco from Plano a little less than a month ago. I was making the trek from Plano to Grapevine to continue seeing Vanessa at the Main Street Barber Shop in Grapevine. She’s been cutting my hair for 3 years now, and always does a womderful job. However, with the move, along came a schedule change from work. Now I’m off work on Sundays and Monday’s, which is when the Grapevine shop is closed. So, had to look for another place to get my hair cut.
I had tried Finley’s Barber Shop in Plano. They did a wonderful job, but it was over $ 50 for a haircut and beard trim. Great work, but more than I will spend on myself on a regular basis.
I found the other Floyd’s location on Unilocal,and saw the mostly positive comments, so I checked on their website, and learned of this location. My barber was Jessica, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her!!! Short wait, even without an appointment. She asked great questions about how I like my hair done, and went to work. Out the door for $ 32 including tip. They are open til 9 pm, which makes it super easy to come by after work. Jessica, you’ve got a long term customer in me! Thanks so much for the wonderful service!!!
Oh, they are located close to Main Event, with Pie Five, Pei Wei, and Mooyah next door!
