I LOVE this property. I have lived here for 2 years and am unfortunately moving only because the commute is exhausting. These apartments are far from where I work and far from my loved ones, and I just can’t deal with the traveling anymore. As a young woman living by myself, I have felt very safe at this property. The apartment grounds are very cute — the interior is adorable and overall, there’s a very airy, clean, quiet atmosphere. The neighbors are friendly and have never been a bother. In the entire time I have lived here, I only had a single instance of both my ac and hot water being out(separate times) — and it was specific to my apartment unit, not property-wide. These issues were fixed immediately with no further problems. Coming from apartments in Mesquite and Dallas, living at Enclave was a HUGE upgrade. The ONLY complaint I have would be the parking situation. The parking setup was either planned poorly, or intentionally to try to have the residents pay extra for a reserved covered parking space or garage. I would not pay for either solely based on principle, but I have spent many many evenings making a long trek from the front of the property back to my apartment way at the end of the apartment grounds. If I could take these apartments as-is and move them closer to Dallas, I would in a heartbeat. The rent is affordable for spacious floorplans, full-size w/d connections and a comfortable, homey feel. I feel as though I am already regretting my move to another property as they feel sub-par in comparison to these.

Broken. Everything is always broken. I lived here for 3 months after relocating to the area. The office staff was great. Always accommodating, friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff were always working hard. Unfortunately the maintenance seemed grossly understaffed. I watched an apartment stay empty for over a month because the staff didn’t have time to get it ready to rent. And they were not slackers. I’d often observe them running to fix something, sweating to haul garbage to the bins, skimming the pool daily etc. This led to many important things being left broken. The hot tub worked only 2 weeks out of the 3 months that I lived there, and that took me complaining for 3 weeks beforehand to get it fixed. It quickly broke again and wasn’t fixed for the remainder of my stay. By then I had given up trying to get it fixed. I went back recently to visit a friend and she told me it hasn’t been fixed since I moved out 3 months ago. The washroom is attached to the fitness room. That means people will come and go with laundry while you’re working out. And shockingly, the dryer broke. A lot. The automatic gates, while generally an unnecessary nuisance anyway, often, you guessed it, broke. And the maintenance staff did their best to fix them. Often. They have complimentary printers and computers in the lobby. Other than them being frequently out of service that was convenient since I seemed to have hidden my printer in storage when I relocated. But again, they were frequently broken. While walking around I would see dog feces most days. Disgusting. I think over half of the tenants have dogs are only maybe half of them bother to clean up after their mutts. On the positive side, again I must note that the staff was great. Very helpful, friendly and eager to do right by their tenants. I didn’t notice people getting those nasty reminders on their doors very often for violations like leaving their trash out over night, having a cluttered porch etc. The staff seemed pretty lenient about that non sense, which is good, in my opinion. While it was fine for a temporary housing situation, if I were looking to rent again in the area I would definitely look for a newer building.
