I have been a patient for Dr. Taft for years and I have no plans on ever leaving. I tried many dentists over the years and they all lied to me telling me I needed all this expensive work done or told me nothing was wrong when I clearly had pain in my tooth. I ended up getting referred to Dr. Taft by a friend and I am so glad I did. He found the problem, told me I didn’t even need all the expensive stuff others said I HAD to have and 5 years later my teeth are healthy and my mouth is happy. Could not be more pleased. The staff is kind and go out of their way to help in any way they can.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Taft for several years and found him from a recommendation of a family member after a bad experience with another dentist. I’ve found Dr. Taft to be very professional in his work and dealings with me over the years. I’ve also appreciated that I am usually in within 10 minutes of my scheduled appointment time and I’m often in before my appointment time if I arrive a little early. Dr. Taft and his staff don’t waste time, though I don’t ever feel like I’m being rushed through, either. Just prompt and timely service whenever I’m in for a checkup, cleaning, or other work.

I think Dr. Taft and his staff are very friendly! I have been going here for years and now my family all sees him.

Dr. Taft definitely does not have very good«bedside manners» and neither does his staff. They are not friendly, but they’re not rude either. I only went to him twice and decided to change because I did not feel I could trust him. I had gotten some previous work on my teeth completed by another dentist the previous year and he recommended that I replace 4 fillings. I felt like he was trying to make money off of me. On the positive side, he did show you photos of your teeth. That was neat.

I had a mixed experience with Dr. Taft’s office. I went in for a routine tooth cleaning in December. The hygienist who did the cleaning and initial check was very thorough and professional. She found a cavity and Dr. Taft confirmed this when he examined my teeth. They were able to work me in to get the cavity filled that day, since I was returning to school the following week and would not be able to make it back easily for another appointment. So, my actual dental experience with Dr. Taft and the hygienist was good. However, my experience with the person who handles their billing was horrible. I provided them with my health insurance and dental insurance information, and the office manager said that I would be responsible for about $ 80 out of pocket. However, two months later, I received a bill for another $ 80. They had billed my health insurance as my primary insurance, which had minimal dental benefits and did not cover most of what they had done, but allowed them to bill higher rates for the X-Rays, filling, and cleaning than my dental policy covered. When I called to ask why I was being billed an extra $ 80, the office manager cut me off repeatedly and would not let me finish my questions. Her only answer was that the rates they had billed my dental insurance were less than Dr. Taft’s normal rates and that I was simply out of luck. I was satisfied with Dr. Taft’s work, but I will likely go elsewhere for future dental cleanings and work because I don’t care to pay $ 160 for something that I shouldn’t have had to pay more than $ 40 for and then be treated rudely by the office manager.
