I have been to this Sonic twice. The first time, they charged me for the extra Oreos I asked for, which is fine, but then they failed to add them to the blast I ordered. The second time we drove up at 10:30 pm, the«open» sign was on and the hours said they were open until 12:00 am, they wouldn’t take our order because they said they were closed. I will not be returning.

Sonic is the best drink stop ever… period! I just ordered a diet Mango/strawberry slush. This is so good. I’m not a fan of the food, but the drinks are amazing!

Warning: This review is based on beverages for the most part. As a student in Austin, there is ONE Sonic near campus, only accessible by car. I am overjoyed when my roommate takes me, yet there is something lacking. The drinks I get here in Austin and honestly, BAD. They are so off from the flavors I am used to getting at Sonic.(Although they give FREE Rt. 44 coupons here very often!) THIS Sonic back home always reminds me of what made me fall in love with Sonic. This is a top-notch location with great staff and all the high quality flavors I’m not getting here in Austin. I love to come here with my lil sis and stock up my family with whatever they are craving. I usually never get food here, but last time I got some fries and they were surprisingly good! Don’t worry Sonic, we will be reunited when finals are over! This summer is gonna be HOT! Woohoo!

If you are set on fast food, Sonic is a good choice. They have a wider selection than most(burgers, coneys & hot dogs, chicken, fries, onion rings, tater tots, limeades, etc.) and the food is made to order.

Was in Houston on a family reunion… In chicago, we only have one sonic in «never-never land» so I haven’t been. Super hot, 100something degree day and we were so parched! So our cousin brought us to Sonic. Did NOT disappoint. I love that there’s essentially/nearly more drinks on the menu than there our food items! Slushies. Creamy slushies. Smoothies. Floats. Regular drinks. All kinds of flavors! mix your flavors! oh geez. Had a blue coconut creamy slushy(oh how i love ordering an item that takes like 4 – 5 words to complete…) But so hit the spot! A little thirst quenching and a little bit of a dessert-like treat. yum yum! But really… mozarella sticks? So good. Onion rings? Large and in charge. Now if a fast food joint can do appetizers really well? i’m so gonna have to keep sonic on my go-to list and even make the trek in Chicago to find our sonic here.

It feels a little bit out of character for me to write a review to a large national chain, but I feel like this Sonic in particular has been an integral part of every student that has walked the halls of Friendswood High School. From parents bringing limeades and slushies to practices and games to students using it as a popular hangout after class, Sonic has certainly been a highlight in Friendswood. While I care not to embellish too much about the food, I am a fan of the originals – cherry limeades and tater tots. The best thing, though, about this Sonic(I’m not sure about others) is that happy hour is between 3PM — 5PM every weekday. Meaning your Route 44 cherry limeade will only cost half the price you would normally pay for it. I don’t know about you, but I’m down for a nice cold cherry limeade with Sonic’s signature ice(which, I might add, is delightful) while riding in my car. Oh, and the whole paying for it with the change I find in the car thing.
