Snowball Cabana

I went here today for the first time and the women who worked there was so sweet!!! I heard that she puts 2 layers of cream in her snow cones and I asked her about it. We then had a conversation about how only having one layer of cream at the top is not enough. I’ll definitely be back because this is the only place I know that puts 2 layers of cream on your snow cones.

Don’t get me wrong I love the location and the owner is super nice. But twice I’ve walked there during regular business hours and it’s been closed. So frustrating!

My family and I love this place. The owner is so nice. Snowcones are great and its awesome to have a little business in our neighborhood.

Family owned and operated with dozens of flavors and combinations. You can add cream or get one with a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom of the cup (recommended if you love calories as much as I do). I think they even started taking credit cards (with one of those smartphone-​based swipers) recently.
Hours are seasonal and they are usually open till 8PM (or sunset, whichever is first) in warm months unless it is raining (in which they close at owner’s discretion).
The smaller sizes are sufficient for most people unless you need your kids to stay up for 3 days. Fair pricing, great service, and great snow cones can be found here. Lots of repeat customers (I live nearby) and they even have a shaded picnic table to hang out at for a bit.

Snowcones are sooo good. Ice is perfect. All the syrups are so good and not watery at all. Kay the owner makes a perfect snowcones with tons of juice all the way threw! Also she has loyalty cards which are perfect especially with kids. My kids beg for these snowcones everyday. Kay the owner is so sweet to go with just as sweet snowcones! ;)

Edited to mention that I request «small» small cones so picture shown is not true to size. They regular small ones are bigger.

I had the strawberry shortcake with cream and it was absolutely scrumptious! Definitely one of my favorite places to grab a refreshing desert when the sun is blazing in Houston. The prices are amazing for the size of the snow-​cones. I would recommend this place to everyone!

This place has the best ice hands down!
It’s not too hard or too watery or too chunky, and there aren’t any parts of the snow come that don’t have flavor!
There’s also a card that you get where you can get a free one after you buy 7.
The smallest size is only $ 1, and for me it’s just the right size and reasonably priced.
There’s also tables behind the truck to sit and chill, and the owner is so nice and amazing and if you can’t decide you can try some of the flavors!
