I love this place, great specials, never too too crowded, you get to know everyone and great specials! Dive bar love them!!!

There is a reason I don’t like dive bars. What dive bar really means is dirty and unkempt. I don’t like it when this term is used in a flattering manner. This place is a «total dive bar». So much so that you will walk in to be greeted by low lighting to give you that extra stabby’ vibe. I walked in here to meet a friend and catch up. The people there quickly eyed me as if to say «you don’t belong here», although the patrons are no fault of the bar and so I will not hold it against them. The bartender was exceptionally friendly although it did take here forever to get drinks out. She was mindful of this, however, and through in a drink on the house without me saying a thing, that was well appreciated. What was not well appreciated was the roach that decided to crawl over my hand while I was drinking. As not to make a scene I quietly disposed of it. That is, however, completely unacceptable. Despite the utterly disgraceful, laughable excuse of an ambiance and total lack of cleanliness, the drinks were not only affordable but enjoyable. It was also nice to see that, while they didn’t care for the cleanliness bar, they did care for that of their liquor. All bottles that were equipped with pourers or were sweet enough to attract flies did have plastic hats to keep the flies out. Definitely something I look for as a common bar patron. Overall, drinks were tasty and affordable but the bar itself was gloomy and not well kept.

Again I’m shocked no one has reviewed this place! It’s a total dive bar and I love it. A lot of regulars come here and everyone becomes your friend! Everybody knows your name! Ha! Prices are cheap, good happy hour and drink specials. On Wednesday they have a steak night (the only night they have food) and it’s really really good! I always being my dog and she loves it! They have karaōke on certain nights as well.
