I brought in my 2014 Ford vehicle to NTB(Fridley, MN) for what I thought would be a simple tire rotation. During the service(which was taking way too long), the manager brought me back into the garage to show me how his service guy stripped the caps on «a few» of my lug nuts. He blamed the design of the lug nuts and told me that I could go buy new ones from him(he didn’t have them in stock) or go elsewhere to replace them(and, oh yeah, I might have a hard time getting them off if I had to replace a flat). So then after another hour, they managed to get my original lug nuts ones back on and I left NTB never wanting to go back again. Fast forward a couple months, I go into my Ford dealership to have all new tires put on. The Ford service tech tells me all 20 of my lug nuts are stripped and that they need to be replaced because whoever removed them previously(NTB) used a wrong socket and damaged them. So I paid out of my pocket to have new lug nuts installed at Ford. With this information and my Ford receipt in hand I returned to NTB to tell them what happened and the two NTB guys rudely tell me they can’t do anything about it since I went elsewhere and how the stripped lug nuts actually work better. Give me a break. Now I know why this NTB was empty each time I went. Their expertise(removing a wheel?) is lacking, their integrity is deplorable, and their customer service is non-existent. Do yourself a favor, stay away from NTB(Fridley, MN) and give someone else your business.
