Broadway Bar & Pizza

Just waited for 20 minutes to have our order taken. After seeing a group seated 7 minutes after we got there get waited on, we said screw this! So we packed up the kids, and left the menus on the table. The place wasn’t busy and we were seated immediately, and will never return. I have never once walked out of a restaurant. What a frickin joke!

I have been to several locations of Broadway Pizza (including their flagship in Minneapolis) and this is by far the best location I have been too so far.
The first thing that striked me was how clean and new everything looked. Some I have been too are outdated and dirty, but this one was meticulous. It even had a fun toy train running throughout the whole place. Cool!
The pizza was delish. We had a Hawaiian Pizza with a twist, bacon! Yum. We also tried their poutine, it was amazing. It totally is not nutritious for you at all but who cares, cheese curds, tater tots, seasoned gravy, cheese… mouth salivating as I type. I almost forgot though, it had extremely fresh and flavorful tomatoes on it too, so there was some nutritional value =)
Our waitress and host were both extremely nice and moved quickly and friendly with our order. All in all, this place is a shining jewel in an established Twin Cities pizza chain. Broadway pizza execs take note of this store and it’s staff!

Excellent pizza, reasonable selection of other dishes (pasta, salads, etc.). Been to several locations and received very good service in all but one (Blaine).

I just finished my dinner from here, not only did it take a ridiculous amount of time to order because the woman on the phone kept repeating the wrong thing but they didn’t give us plates or silverware (had it delivered to a hotel) nor did I receive my garlic roll with my Caesar salad. The worst part was that the dressing must have gone bad-​it was warm and had a strange taste so for safety I only ate the salad that didn’t have dressing.
The only reason why they got two stars was because the pizza that was also ordered was good and they were on time.
Never ordering again.

Pretty good deep dish pizza here. The first time we went the service was pretty bad I’m not going to lie but the pizza was still really good. We decided to give it another shot and the second time the service was a lot better.

I have gotten delivery from the Fridley location manny times and it has always been great! No matter what I order, from pizza to entrees it arrives piping hot (not even the place a block from me has done that). From the staff who take orders to the delivery folks all well done! I live in an apt. And they never make me come down to them they always bring it to my door! Everything I have ever ordered is wonderful! Best pizza ever and everything else has been great too! Keep up the great work! Love this place!

Love this local pizza joint! Dough is amazing and sauce is super flavorful. After just moving to the area I did my far share of pizza delivery options. If you’re in Fridley, there’s no other pizza place I would order form. Delivery drivers are very nice and even apologize for being a little late. (I’m used to waiting more than an hour for delivery living in Boston… the driver wasn’t even late in my book and still was very apologetic) Don’t hesitate. Prices are a bit more expensive than other local places but the quality is just better here.

Long story short: We ordered food, called 3x to check status, but the food never came. The employees messed up and were unapologetic. Not the best attention to detail or customer service.

Well, maybe I am not a sophisticated pizza eater, but this is my favorite (so far), pizza in the Twin Cities. I love the thin cracker crust and ingredients that are not to heavy for the thin crust. The crust is what makes it. Crisp and airy and best when slightly charred on the bottom. Yummy goodness. The original Broadway pizza location is the best, but the Fridley location is great as well.
I am on the hunt for great pizza, and this one ranks right at the top. S

The pizza is fantastic, but pick it up or eat there. Every time I order for delivery, it is a total rigamaround and takes at least an hour plus. I write this as I sit and wait. Again. So annoyed. Will I ever learn just to pick it up.

Tried the deep dish pizza tonight. oh yeah. it was as good as it looks. Now I will be conflicted which to order with Deep Dish versus thin crust. Saturday night at 6 PM and the place was full but there was no wait for seating.

I love broadway Pizza no matter the location, since this is one by me, it’s the one I’ll review. Amazingly Fridley has several Pizza options, more than most other subarbs I’ve lived in, and while Broadway is everywhere, it still stands out. I also love that they’re very consistent, I’ve never had a bad pizza from them. They know what they’re doing and do it well. Why only 4 stars than? I wish I could answer that, sometimes rating is a gut feelilng, not a science.

Broadway pizza is good.
The thin crust pizza is cut into squares. The sauce is kind of tangy yet spicy, but not too spicy to put some red pepper flakes on. :)
We had a chicken broccoli type pizza and a 5 meat pizza. OMG. Both were fantastic.
