Love this burger joint! Staff are always friendly and prompt service. Burgers, sides, and shakes are always tasty. Love the atmosphere. It’s a little rustic but clean. The restrooms were too on the occasions I was there. The whole experience brings back memories of the old mom and pop joints we visited growing up in the old days. I can always count on a friendly smile from the owners and a great conversation and a laugh from the gentleman who owns it.

We ordered 2 BLT Sandwiches. YUM YUM YUM. It’s a diner without waiter service. The bathrooms and the eating area was clean. The staff was friendly.

TOURISTS BEWARE! Owner saw us walking into the diner for a late lunch. Being tourists we stopped outside to take a picture of this rustic diner. Owner saw us and decided to yell at us from inside the restaurant as we were approaching ‘GO AWAY’. By far the weirdest and rudest experience I have ever had! STAY AWAY!

I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Subpar food alongside horrible hours and they only accept cash. They only serve breakfast one day a week, they close on holidays when the streets are flooded with people looking for food. The place just seems like it is run by someone that doesn’t care about making money or serving good food to the locals. This could be the best local hangout for food but it is not.

Great chocolate shake. But after using the restroom and walking around the restaurant it was so hot, smelly and dirty I didn’t want to eat it.

Keep it simple at Vic’s. Dined here with my son for breakfast last weekend. I had biscuits and gravy… a fave of mine. The biscuits were very nice, but the gravy was clearly from a jar. Not terrible, but not homemade. Pancakes my son had were just fine. Link sausages were quite good. Place overall is rather dumpy, with a large, beat up air conditioning unit sitting in the dining area, but service was prompt and friendly. I’d go back for a simple breakfast or burger and fry lunch. Just don’t be too adventurous.

This guy knows how to cook a burger’! Great food! Very local, we were the only ones out of town. They don’t take card, which is always a negative for me. Chicken Fingers were good and they even gave us our special sauce on the side. Which according to our cashier is a 50 year plus recipe!

Stopped on for breakfast and it is like going back 30 years. The portions were very large the owners were super friendly and not trying to show you out the door to get the next customer in. The food was simple wholesome and delicious. Our kids enjoyed it we enjoyed sitting back and the coffee did not end. There is no view but the local conversation makes up for it.

I am not sure how or why this place has fairly good ratings! It was absolutely horrible food that we had for dinner tonight. We fed five for $ 43.00. The patato salad was out of a bucket, i’ve never seen or tasted anything like the chicken nuggets made with a cardboard coating as well as the chicken strips, I got enough food in my clams strips basket to feed a toddler, even the tartar sauce was nasty. My mom had to go to San Juan bakery for a piece of pizza to feel satisfied (which was delicious, by the way). Each of our meals seem to have been the cheapest of the cheap, out of a bag and/​or frozen. No home-​made anything. Not even diner-​worthy food. More like tv dinner worthy. I would have actually preferred a T.V. dinner over this. Would give 0 stars if I could! Bummer to be expecting some good ol’ fashion diner food, and instead you end up eating bagged or freezer boxed food.

Great place… comfort food. Not fancy but good burgers, etc. very friendly. We ate dinner here, wish they were open for breakfast during the week. Open at 11 am except Saturday they open at 8 am.

So good AND cheap. We’ve been on the San Juan Islands for two days and it’s
all we’ve eaten! Well, that and doughnuts. :) Veggie Boca Burgers!

This is my kinda place… Little greasy diner where the locals go for a good burger and fries. With huge menu from breakfast to dinner they have everything — burgers, sandwiches, fish, pancakes and more. Very friendly service… I loved the ham & bacon burger!

Vic’s is an okay place to grab a bite. Cheap food and friendly service! An olé time burger place, like before the golden arches took over.

You’ll go back in time thirty years when you step into this place. This is classic island fast food, and the last of it’s kind. Luckily no heavy handed Starbuckesque type remodel has happened here like what is happening to so many of these old diners everywhere and the menu hasn’t changed in generations. The attraction here is value, just like thirty years ago one can take the whole family out to eat and not break the bank. The more things change, the more they stay the same!
