Love it. Amazing place, inspiring a lot especially if you are a music producer. Come here, bring your guitar or laptop if your EDM producer like me and make something great like this

Totally amazing park, right on the waterfront of Smallpox Bay. You’ve GOT to see it. Mid-west side of the island, idle for orca spotting. Great(but small) campsites, check out the online map and reservation system(you can find it, you know, that company, use it) to see where you’d like to stay. Only book in the high season, cause on the off-season we found they don’t check their own reservation system. Ranger mentioned you can’t get near it without a reservation in the summertime. You’ll love it. It’s gorgeous. We went low season, and deer were roaming the beach at night. Wild and amazing. Lime Kiln is also close, great for tidepool adventures. Check it out! Make a reservation! Stay here! Thanks for listening!

This is a very scenic campground, perched right along the coast and facing Haro Strait. Not only is it about 2 miles from Lime Kiln State Park, where you can often see killer whales in the summer, but we even saw killer whales from the campground. It looked like you could arrange for kayaking with a company departing from the campground. Each campsite had a fire ring and a picnic table. Some are shaded and some have no trees. There is a bathroom that was clean and spacious, but there are no showers. The major drawback is that most of the campsites are very close to one another, so there is essentially no privacy and you will hear everything going on. We really struggled to get to sleep one night because of 2 incredibly loud snorers – one below us and one above! – a screaming toddler, and someone arriving and setting up their tent sometime after 10:30 pm. So if that bothers you, look elsewhere, although I don’t think there are too many camping options on the island. As for scenery, it definitely gets an A+.
