This is a really interesting place to visit if you are staying at Roche. It reminds me of something you would see in Rome(I guess since I haven’t been to Rome). Its a short hike for Roche Harbor, and not something you will see just anywhere.

This was very interesting, it is a good example of the opulence of the time. You can well imagine what kind of cultish ceremonies were imagined to go on here. I would not be surprised if some movie scenes would not have been shot here. The symbolism of the architecture is somewhat fascinating. A little creepy though.
