Weekend Dreams Burgers & Grill

This is an awesome stop for lunch! We were driving through Fresno and decided to stop in here. We had the nachos, cheese burger and teriyaki hot wings. Decent price, fresh food, great staff and clean facilities! We’ll be coming back the next time we find ourselves driving through Fresno:)

This place is so good! I had the Bacon Ranch burger. Best burger I’ve had in a while, the Bacon was thick and perfectly cooked, everything was fresh. The fries were nice and crispy on the outside with just the right amount of seasoning.
Staff was really friendly. I’m pretty sure it is family owned and operated.
If you will excuse me, I have a food coma to attend to.

Had the weekend dreams burger, and oh my god is it huge. Burger, pastrami, and a hot link. It is big enough for 2 people. Add to it, this place has Mexican, Chinese, and other goodies. You could eat here for 2 months and not have the same thing. Great food, friendly people. Go support this place

Stopped here on a road trip, right off the freeway, clean, and good good good. I had the tacos and they were cooked perfectly. Their burgers look great too.

I got the pastrami burger and I’ll definitely be back. It was bomb. Can’t wait to try the other burgers and sandwiches. Super nice family owners! Very clean. Great sports family atmosphere and tvs for live sporting events.

Food was very good. We ordered 4 different items in a combo. The burgers are very large but could use some more seasoning. The pepper steak was great and the bbq chicken sandwich was d-​lish. Crinkle cut fries were tasty. They are still working out the kinks so it took a little while to get all the order. I’m sure that will smooth itself out before long. Very friendly staff. Only thing I didn’t dig was that refills weren’t free.

Found the place via Unilocal.We had the pastrami burger, double cheeseburger and the pepper chicken hoagie. Everything was served hot and fresh with the cheese oozing out. The flavors blended well together. My favorite was the pastrami burger.
Service was excellent and friendly !

What a great variety of choices at Weekend Dream. The gentleman working the counter said that they’re known for their burgers, but also had hoagies, rice bowls and Mexican plates. It will truly take some you time to make a decision! I had the tri-​tip hoagie, which actually tasted more like carne asada, not that that’s a bad thing. It also had lots of shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese, kinda like a taco, which I really liked. Hubby had the patty melt which was served on a huge square bread. It wasn’t the usual Rye bread, but no complaints. The service was very attentive even though it’s a walk-​up and order set-​up. Great locally-​owned alternative to the chain fast food joints. They also have breakfast with lots of different breakfast sandwiches which looked delish. Definitely give them a try!

Finally got to try to this place after accidentally discovering it on Unilocal.Its right next to where I live and I’d never seen it lol. There’s so many options its hard to chose what to try. Ended up going with a bacon cheeseburger and OMG was it delicious! The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and perfectly salted. Even the soda tastes good and not like straight club soda like in most places. The guys we’re very friendly, food was done real fast even though we went in exactly at 7 when they were closing they still took our order and served us. Will definetly be coming back to try most items on their menu.

Well we have found a gem here! This place was on our list of places to try and we are glad we did! Their menu has so many choices its hard to decide what to eat so we will need to come back again and again to try it all. The best thing is there is no kids menu so you can eat what you want no matter how old you are! I had the grilled pb and j and it was beyond awesome and it had grape jelly! The fries are really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My husband had a burger and fries and enjoyed them and our friend had a hoagie which he liked too. I gave five stars cause the food was great and the staff were very nice, however my only disappointment was being charged for a refill. I wish they were free. That being said I recommend this place to all and we will be back soon for more of your great food!

Hoagie and i had the pastrami burger. We both thought the taste of the pastrami was great. The service was quick from the time we ordered till we got our food.

I just went there with a friend last night. Customer service is top notch! I was pleasantly surprised and how delightful the staff was. For that reason alone it’s worthy to check out. We just don’t have many places with authentically friendly and enthusiastic staff like this. Good job guys! For that alone 5 star worthy. We both had burgers which were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I had a torta burger and my friend a bacon cheese. The fries, as other reviews suggested, were also very tasty. I will definitely come back. Can’t wait to try some of the other menu items. Oh! I almost forgot the prices are fantastic! Cheaper than McD’s but homemade quality and tastes that are top notch. It’s a Must try!

Quite a bizarre and insane concept restaurant in my opinion that caters not only burgers, but also rice plates, Mexican favorites, wraps, salads and even sandwiches, it no wonder they use the BOOM! word here a lot, because its filled with much surprise. Despite its insane food selection, the food is decent tasting (don’t expect gourmet), priced sensibly and generously portioned. My favorite was the double cheeseburger.
The word «dream» in its long name probably suggest that the owners wanted a place that had everything in one place, its clearly a dream. The restaurant itself is hardly fancy– the interior is simple and highly casual — (desired dress code — sweat pants and gym clothes), and the ordering style is deli (order at the counter and serve to the table). Friendly and congenial is the only way to describe the service– I do love how the cashier/​hostess enthusiastically explained the menu; my only disappointment is the lack of suggestion of its must try item, the server failed to showcase its signature item on the menu– hence leaving me with a difficult task to sample it vast menu without knowing what is certainly good or popular.
I tried the double cheeseburger $ 4.99 and the BBQ chicken sandwich $ 5.99. My personal favorite was the cheeseburger because it was massive. Despite the massive size the quality was not compromised, the meat used here was thick, tasty and juicy, while the soft brioche buns were perfect grilled and lightly buttered. It was definitely a refreshing surprise to have such a ginormous burger generously filled with onions, cheese, tomatoes and cucumber even.
The BBQ chicken sandwich was also tasty, but slightly sweet to my taste. I did however enjoy the tenderly cooked that shredded chicken so perfectly coated in the the BBQ sauce. I must also highlight the hot dog bun it was served in, as it was soft on the inside but nice and crispy on the outside. I wasn’t too impressed with the portion of this sandwich though, as it looked small, and wouldn’t have filled me up as much.
I thought the interior was quite interesting, I did like the booth seats designed as it was comfortable and luxurious looking, however the Chinese buffet chairs and tables on the front was very tacky and cheap looking– quite a huge contrast to the overall look of the place. There was also a huge bar area that overlooked the kitchen, that was unused. My only suggestion is for the owners to better utilize and harmonize its interior décor, because currently half looks good and the other side is too tacky.
My final recommendation is for the menu to be more interactive and possibly professional looking. Currently it looks like a high school menu project with really bad graphic design, sure its fine for a 8^th or 7^th grader menu project, but for restaurant the menu seems too tacky and doesn’t attract my sense to stay in the restaurant and share its menu on Instagram or Facebook, its looks like it was designed by some amateur. Overall the food is quite good, and the price is reasonable and the concept although crazy works for me. My only complaint is for the restaurant to ensure the interior looks good, so that people are more comfortable of sitting and dining in.

My brother was raving about this place and wanted to take me as soon as I landed in Fresno.
It’s a small restaurant with amazing customer service and food. He’s tried almost everything on the menu and swears it’s all good. I had the bacon ranch burger. Combo with fries and a drink was like $ 7.50. An awesome deal. The burger was well seasoned, big and just delicious. Fries fried to a golden crispy deliciousness. Like I said the service was great. Friendly and fun.
There are like 4 tables that seat 4 with chairs and 3 booths. 4 tvs so you can watch your game whole enjoying your food. Very clean.
I’m glad my brother introduced me to this place. We will definitely be back before I head home after the holidays. Oh they serve breakfast all day too. That breakfast torta was calling my name.

I hate to give locations a bad review.
I cannot give this location more than 1, star when it should be more in the negative star. The food is not Culinary quality, and far from it.
When I try new places I try food usually can do not cook at home. I try foods that are not Mexican because I am Mexican. Even though it was a hamburger joint with 20 other side dishes, I tried something off their menu. A combo of chicken and steak combo teriyaki plate. I should have know better because theres a Japanese restaurant next door.
The steak and chicken was precut and sterfried on a grill. The stake was sitting in the warmer for some time, it shredded on touch. The chicken did the same thing. Dry and with original flavor the meat. Every thing was smothered in a teriyaki sauce to the meats dry texture. It’s not BBQ. And sad to say I was not the only one leaving food behind on the plate because it was horrible. I do not recommend it. I really expected more from this location.
I also want to say the plate I ordered was over priced.
I am the worst speller, and have horrible grammar. I just want to say compared to the other critics. I respect that the owner has a dream and what to open a restaurant, but just because you cook good at home does not mean you have good food for restaurant. I want to say the owners your black, bring that soul food to your food. That’s what makes you unique to other restaurants that are in Fresno. Please bring your best to the table, I hate that people fail in business when they have the talent to achieve that 5 star quality. Good luck sorry for the bad review. I know you will figure out that thing you need to do.

Delicious Food. Finally have another option besides pizza and asian cuisine. The menu is amazing. Wish they had alcohol and stayed open a little later during the week. Prices are right on. Get some draft beers and the neighborhood can have a place to watch sports. Thanks for opening up shop. Hope everyone else gives you a try. Maybe when you guys get some more business you can turn on the heater.

Really happy that there is a place so close to work that has really good food a fair prices. The cheese burgers are on pare with Triangle and that’s saying something.
I will be a regular customer.

I came in today literally about a half hour ago. It’s right next to my apartment so I thought I’d give it a try. The place is accommodating and welcoming. I noticed they had a camera in the front so that when they are in the back they can see when someone walks in (genius). The cashier (I overheard him say he’s the manager) was definitely friendly and welcoming.
It only took ten minutes from ordering and paying to receiving my to go order. I ordered a Cali torta and a steak and ranch wrap. I myself are the torta. Wow! It was incredibly delicious. It was greasy but not overpowering the magnificent flavor of the steak. I had a bite of my husbands wrap and it was equally delicious. There was no skimping in the meat department!
This place deserves a lot of recognition. Not just for the good food but also because you can tell that they are putting in a lot of effort as a new business. I’m really happy to see a new restaurant open up in this shopping complex. It’s a great alternative to sushi all of the time (that can be draining on my wallet).
