Tri Sport Bicycles

So pleased with service. Walked in without an appointment and needed son’s bike fixed — pronto! The nice man quickly determined what was needed and fixed it in less than ten minutes. Will definitely return.

I dropped my bike off for some repairs and a tuneup. The person writing me up wasn’t very glad to see me. Apparently they have a LOT of business. Anyway I thought this must be one of those off days that we all have from time to time. I picked my bike up a week later and was met by the same guy. I guess he had two off days… both when I was there. In any event he was arrogant and very rude. I will never go back.

We’ve been shopping around for bikes and accessories and have been to every bike shop including big box like REI and Herb Bauer. Every time we’ve come in here, we are always greeted by the co-​owner. He is always genuinely interested in how our day is. By far the nicest guy out of all of the bike stores and very knowledgeable. We haven’t had our bikes serviced there but would definitely consider it just off the customer service.

I saw the neg reviews about this shop before I bought a groupon for a full bike tune up. But I thought I would still give it a try. Glad I did! The guy behind the counter was polite and to the point witch I like, no pressure to up sale me. Said it would be ready the next evening, it was done on time. Bike looks brand new, shocks feel great, no more squeak in my rear break. Feels and looks great. Totally going back. Great job guys.

My review was also deleted for some unknown reason but here it goes again. I would not repeat this task if I did not want to warn others about the terrible service this place provides. They are ignorant of routine bicycle repairs and extremely rude. The last and final time I went in was after I had a routine tuneup and assumed everything had been tuned. So when I was having trouble with my derailer, I asked for a simple adjustment and after the staff argued with me that the only remedy would be to replace and install a new device and cable, I was adamant that it would be easier than that. The man I was talking with grabbed my bike out of my hands, ran it into the back threw it on the rack, made the adjustment and ripped it off the rack, without saying a word and after I repeatedly requested it back. When I ride it home the problem was worse than before, enough to make me stop, make a Unilocal account and write this review. Screw this place and anyone who promotes it is obviously related to the owner. Do not ever go here for anything ever.

I’ve already written a review of this shop but the review was removed as I only gave it 1 star… So here goes again.
Unhelpful, rude and aggressive staff. Had a few different bike tune ups and nothing seemed to be have been done to the bike apart from pumping up the tires. My girlfriends bike actually broke a few days after they were meant to fix problem and they didn’t seem to care. Go to stevens or rubbersoul where they actually seem to provide customer service. No wonder tri sport looks about a week from closing.

The owner was not friendly at drop off. After a full tune up my disc brakes drag the full rotation of the tires. They are so far away that its not worth the drive back to correct it. I’ll try to fix it myself and I won’t be back.

Bought my first really good bicycle here recently and the staff there couldn’t be any more helpful. I and a true novice and wanted to get into cycling without spending a whole lot. They hooked me up with a really nice bike for less than MSRP.
The bike had to be ordered which took about a week and as soon as it came in they set it up to fit me perfectly. The bike comes with free lifetime adjustments too.
Their store is going through some remodeling so their stock on hand for apparel and accessories are very low. They said it should be ready by summer 2011.

I’ve bought multiple bikes from Tri-​Sport and stop in regularly for free warranty service. The shop has knowledgeable staff who will steer you in the right direction instead of upselling. Turnaround on warranty service and repairs is relatively quick and shop hours are convenient. My wife had a fitting here and the results were very good.

Back when I was in college, I was riding my first road racer on my way to an exam. As I was crossing the street a guy rolled through the stop sign and t-​boned me flat to the ground. Luckily I was ok but the bike was totalled. So when the insurance was settled I made my way over to Tri Sport and picked up my lucky new Specialized racer and have it with me through countless races and rides. Great comprehensive cycling store even though they no longer carry Specialized road bikes.
