Went here for the first time a month ago. First time carne asada tacos were moist, flavorful and tortillas nice and soft. Chili verde buritto was flavor and on point! Today carne asada was dry with no taste. The tortillas tasted dry, hard and not fresh. They tasted old as if they gave me tortillas that have been sitting in oil for a while. My carne asada buritto with the same meat in it was not flavorful. I do not like the fact that they are not consistent on the flavor and quality of there food. I ate my food of course but I will not be returning.

Ate here on Sunday April 12 2015. The carne asada burrito was great and pastor taco was delicious as well. I didn’t expect much walking into a corner store burrito shop, but I should know by now to expect the best food from the deepest holes in the wall in the Central Valley, as opposed to the half rate chain restaurants that bombard the local market. Will be getting lunch here every time I play a round of disc golf at the great Kearney Park.

By far best Chile Verde burrito I’ve ever had in Fresno, when I walked in I didn’t expect much which made the food that much better and even after eating it for a couple years it hasn’t changed a bit.
Castillo’s is still top dog to me but this place ranks right behind them

Let me start by just letting you know that this place looks a bit shady from the outside, but the Food here is delicious! This place is quite literally a hole in the wall, because its inside of a liquor store in the very back next to the meat/​deli section but as I’ve said the food is delicious so that is why I’m giving it ⁵⁄₅. The inside of the actual small restaurant is not very appealing either, but they’re working on the aesthetics by adding more space and decorations. I have been to different places for tacos but none is more traditional, original or great tasting as this place. So if you do not mind checking this place out even though the outside may look crappy, you’ll know you’ve stumbled with the best Mexican restaurant in Fresno.
