Dr. Giometti and Carla are both great. They have worked with me and my sister very well and they are very nice. Idk if maybe you hit them on a bad day or what but I have never had that long wait issue, or the lack of interaction, and didn’t mind them asking if I wanted«such and such» done because a lot of businesses will just go ahead on the work without asking and you will end up with a huge bill. I personally take it as a courtesy, not an offense. Not everyone can drop $ 100 or what have you on the spot. I would fly back to CA from AR just to get into his office and have my work done. He makes sure you are happy with his work. And about the equipment, if it works, why does it matter how old it is. Do people think your functionality low because you are old? That you aren’t as good as the newer stuff? Just food for thought. I am not trying to bash you or your experience but, maybe a fresh slate can be used? *shrugs* I recommend him to all I know.

I have to say that the dental assistant is amazing with kids and made my son feel comfortable for his first visit. However; I think it’s pretty ridiculous to expect a child to wait 40 minutes in the reception area followed by another 40 minutes just sitting in a chair waiting for the dentist to finally come see the patient. I found that to be very unprofessional and did not make for a very good first impression. His equipment is probably as old as me too! What really turned me off to his practice was when asked me «Did you want me to clean his teeth?» Hello!!! You’re the dentist! Aren’t YOU suppose to make it a practice to clean every person’s teeth at a 6 month check-up??? I researched Dr. Giometti and he was recommended on various websites saying he was great with kids but I found he was not great! He barely seemed tolerant and he wasn’t trying to relate or converse with my son to make him feel at ease. After his appointment I decided to drop him as his dentist and my son is now seeing a dentist that was recommended by his cousins. update 1−16−13: I have been a licensed RDA since 2009. I am positive about my wait time and also working in a Pedo-office in San Jose myself, I do realize wait times can be a bit prolonged. I still stand by original review about the long wait time regardless of whether or not you think I cannot remember my wait 6 months later. obviously it was the entire one time experience there that led me to leave and never return. I was appalled that you asked me whether or not you should clean my son’s teeth. Not every patient that walks into your office has knowledge, training of dental care or is a licensed RDA. Why did I choose to write a review about your office 6 months later? Hmmm, maybe because I was reflecting on whether or not to leave such a low rating.
