It was okay, the chicken was so dry, that even the mashed potatoes couldn’t help. Over priced! I’m not planing on going back!

OMG all I have to say is that I need help when it comes to this place! I’m freaking addicted to the blackened ranch and I must haves them all! The spicy tenders are amazing especially when fresh out of the fryer and every time they have a new dish I’m there day one! The new hotness right now is the Spice Packed wings which I’m not too much of a fan but what I have found is my new love the Spicy Pepper Ranch! Oh baby Jesus give me a whole tub o’ that crap to bathe in. Mmmm scrumptious.

The employees at this location is not professional in any means. I went to this location yesterday through the drive thru only to find out they added Large Rice & Beans when I didn’t even order it. After I went inside and talked to one of them, they didn’t apologize. After I waited for my food, they had asked me if I wanted some ketchup and hot sauce and I told them yes that would be wonderful. Little did I know, it wasn’t hot sauce instead it was honey. I was getting more frustrated. At last, they forgot to give me my drinks that I had ordered that came with the combos. This location needs better management, I would not come back to this store. I would rather spend my money at KFC

Worst meal ever for the enormous price of $ 9.00 for the Shrimp Basket! My daughter got the 2-piece Chicken meal that was overcooked and inedible! Paid $ 5.00 for this! There was no lunch specials at all and the cheapest meal was $ 8.00! Never going there again!

Driest chicken ever tried to eat absolutely inedible. They refused to refund me or give me a coupon for a later time.

Generally I don’t do fast food or chains of any kind, but Popeye’s is one exception. Digging me some Cajun music whilst grubbing down on their delish chicken tenders. I like their dipping sauces and the fact that I can mix it up on the sides: coleslaw, beans, mashers, etc. It’s not Nawlins, but it’s about as close as Fresno is gonna get.

First time in the drive thru, and service was great. Got the Po’ Boy sandwich meal, and it was delicious. Nice to have side options other than fries. If the price was a little bit lower, I’d give 5 stars.

The state of any restaurant simply reflects how much care and sense of responsibility the owner takes in his business. Unfortunately, this particular location definitely needs corporate intervention. I am definitely a fan of Popeyes’ food. Once I get a craving, I’ll make the drive and then just hope the restaurant is having a good day. I’ll have my fingers crossed that I’ll get food prepared how it was supposed to be prepared. It’s too bad that it never happens here. Chicken is room temp, batter was not completely submersed in oil so it did not cook/crisp entirely, and the last visit the taste was completely off. It was just salt and flour… did they run out and substitute for regular store bought ingredients? Also, employees are rude. They act like you’re bothering them and when they do work they move really slow. The drive through is broken. There’s no sign. They just leave customers awkwardly waiting and they don’t care. Popeyes should be ashamed they gave a franchise to someone who does not know how to manage or even care. This place is a mess and it’s falling apart. Employees lack training and recipes are not followed. It’s too bad this town doesnt have one good Popeyes location, otherwise I’d actually drive there. I guess I’ll stick to KFC and their extra crispy chicken which is their take on the Popeyes version and I’ll be fine with that.

I love fried chicken, Popeye is one of my favorite places to eat. The reason I give only 3 stars because they often run out of chicken. Most of the time I have to wait in the front.

Ridiculous. Go through the drive thru and told to pull to the front that they will be right out in 3 mins with my food. Then to only have me wait all most 15 mins. Not to mention it’s dark and a safety concern for your customers and your staff to have customers out in the parking lot for their food. Staff is anything but nice no please no thank you even when I’m saying. Not even a your welcome. Pass on this place.

If I could give this location a zero I would every time info through the drive through they ran out of chicken, they don’t have this sauce, or we don’t have that product until next week… the one thing most they do that’s pisses me off when I go through the drive through I have to sit in the drive through for 1520mins waiting on my food can’t stand that if I wanted to wait that thought I would have went to a restaurant. What’s the point of being a fast food restaurant if you not going to get your food fast… This review is not based on one time it’s based on several times…

Let me be honest. popeye’s chicken is way better than any other fried chicken place and the obvious competition is KFC. popeye’s beats everything at KFC except for the biscuits. however, the problem with the popeye’s in fresno is that the owner is very stingy. this makes it hard for every store to be supplied with enough product to make the quality of food and service consistent. it doesn’t matter which store you go to, they will normally be all out of a certain product or it will be a long time wait for you to get it. which, wouldn’t be so bad if there were waiter service but this is a FAST food joint and the food ain’t always out so fast. no amount of training could prepare the poor staff to endure the complaints they must get daily from upset customers angry because they are all out of hot sauce or because they charge for dipping sauce. the prices are already high enough as it is and having to wait or risk there not being any product you want is frustrating and not fair to people who waste their time and money hoping for something that cannot be delivered. FALSEADVERTISEMENT! if you have a picture of juicy chicken strips up well i sure hope you have them when i order! get it?! owner of popeye’s fresno! hot sauce doesn’t get old so why do you always run out of it?! no one should charge for dipping sauce, it’s unamerican!!! a lousy 50 cents for sauce only says to me, «i’m a stingy cheapskate money hoarder» give these people their sauce if they have to wait all the time for their chicken! and by the way, if you stop worrying about how much chicken your losing at the end of the night then the quality of your product will better and your customers will be happy to come back and pay $ 8.00 for 2 tiny fillets of catfish. and maybe if you did that, your cashiers could upsell easier and then you can pay them more because they all look miserable! the quality is lost! no customer service, bad quality product, high prices, and long wait times make for a failing business. word of mouth can shut the doors and i’m telling everyone!!!

It will be greasy and yummy! Here’s what my yummy meal consists of: Spicy Fried Chicken Mashed Potatoes Biscuit and SWEETTEA The chicken will not be your mama’s, but, it will be 100% better than KFC. It is crispy, and moist inside. The mashed potatoes are sooo good. The gravy has a great and different flavor to it. These savory combination HAS to be washed down with their sweet tea. It isn’t as intensely sweet as McDonalds. It’s near Fresno State, therefore, it’s not going to be the prettiest place Fresno has to offer. Suck it up, you’re definitely not in the worst place though…

Great place for fast food if you’re craving some really good fried chicken! The insides are moist and juicy while it is crispy and crunchy to perfection on the outside. Makes it the perfect combination of flavorful, moist, hot, steaming, crispy chicken! Cajun mashed potatoes and gravy are a must have on the side! Goes great to dip the chicken in!

This location is so bad. I drove up the speaker and got,“it’s going to be ten minutes till our system is back up”…no hello no sorry. So we waited a while and then walked in. Again no hello, instead a women walked up from the back that looked like she had just rolled out of bed with her hair all crazy, a ripped hoodie and something spilled down the front of her shirt. We ordered and she said, «hang on» while she starred at the computer screen for a few awkward minutes. During this time another employee walked in the front door yelling, «I’m so late fool!» They proceed to have a conversation about their party plans and then she gets back to us. We order and go to sit down, avoiding the dead cockroach on the floor. She then yells from the kitchen, «Ay, I just threw out the gravy because it was bad so do you like want fries instead!?» …yes fries are fine. The soda was just carbonated water but I wasn’t about to tell them that, I figure they are having a rough enough time just getting the food out. Ten minutes later we got our food which was pretty good and almost worth the bad experience. Look, I know it’s just fast food and my hopes shouldn’t be too high but here are some tips for this location: Welcome your customers and ask them what they would like to order. if there is a problem with your system, politely inform them and appologize for the inconvenience. They are, afterall choosing to spend money at your fast food restauraunt. Don’t tell your customers that you have rotten or bad food… that makes me feel that you don’t have a sense of cleanliness and it makes me nervous to eat your food. Clean up the dead bugs from your floor! Don’t talk about your party life so loudly that everyone in the store is forced to listen. We really don’t want to hear how smashed you got last weekend.

This review is for the experience i had there two weeks ago… I came in and ordered a po’ boy sandwich with no pickles. After some time i heard the cook and the cashier arguing about why there were pickles on the sandwich(cook said he wasnt told while the cashier said she did tell him). After some time my number was called up and i picked up the food. Lo and behold there were pickles in my sandwich. I couldnt say anything cause i had to run out and the cashier was mia so i just walked out…

Well this is the second time ive went there and both times have been disappointments. The first time they gave us hard as rock biscuits, We complained and they wanted us to drive back with the food to just give us other biscuits and the manager basically acted like he didn’t speak english. So we decided to give it another try after six months. The lady that gave us hard biscuits is now a manager and takes her job to serious. We go back tonight and had to wait 20 minutes for food .No one in lobby. Spent almost 50 dollars asked for a couple dipping sauces for my onion rings and she told me she had to charge me 25 cents apiece. I said i just spent 50 bucks and she said you know how many times i hear that? I left with no napkins, butter or honey for my biscuits. There customer service sucks and i will never eat there again. That popeyes lost this customer…

If you haven’t had Popeyes Chicken, than I suggest you just slap yourself for thinking KFC is the best fast food fried chicken out there. Well anyways, the chicken is always juicy and crispy, with those Cajun spices to back it up. The reason why I gave this particular Popeyes and alright rating is because of the Cajun Rice they serve. It was really watery and the chicken this time was somewhat uncooked a little. Other than that this place is always a good spot to get some good Fried Chicken. Try the chicken strips also, they are really juicy as well and they usually have specials like every Tuesday Thursday $.99 Leg and Thigh. Not too sure if they still serve it.
