I have to give a not good and bad review, i was a recent member for over a year. but it is too frustrating to not be able to use the weight benches because the buff guy and his clan hog up the equipment and noine else can use until they are done. either they need more weight benches or stop hogging up the machines. Cancelled my membership 3 days ago.

That moment you come in, paying $ 50 a month, realising you could pay $ 10 a month a fitness 19. =O!!! Don’t come here, it’s over priced and lame.

I was visiting family and came into the PF gym in Fresno with my sis in law since she was my guest. She signed in but they required her to put down her email, date of birth, phone number, and first and last name. I originally crossed her email, phone number and DOB out since they leave all that info out on the table where anyone can take a pic or just memorize info. Before we even left the front desk they made her redo the info and I happened to step in and inform them that this info they are asking is not and shouldn’t be required because it’s an easy access to fraud. Their reply«it’s for liability reasons. How is an email, DOB part of a liability process». I work in a hospital and there are reasons why things are kept hidden and not out in the open for all eyes to see. I’m very disappointed in this PF when I have gone to many with guests and have never been treated as if I’m stupid for going against there«liability BS»… My guests have only had to put down there name and that’s it. Were going to GB3 next time.

What ever you do DONOT sign up here. The corporation and staff do not care and do everything in their power to loop-hole you out of your hard earned money. DONOTGIVETHEMYOUR card number or they will take money from you willy-nilly. Never had worse customer service than I got from«Nate» the store manager. Seriously don’t do it! Also Gym was dirty and the«trainers» they offered a joke. They advertise a «Judgement Free Zone» But I literally had the Manager, Nate, say to me «Then you should have worked out more» Nice. Thanks Nate.

Went in to see about possibly signing up for a membership, but before I would sign up I wanted to try it out one time. They would not provide me a day pass unless I paid $ 20, or just sign up the girl at the front desk stated to me. Ya no thanks, even GB3 doesn’t charge for a potential new member to try out their facilities nor does Fitness Evolution. Guess I will be switching to Fitness Evolution.

UPDATE: While I previously gave this location 5 stars, I’ve had to downgrade it a bit. Due to work schedules, we recently switched from going late at night to going in the late afternoon or early evening. The difference, no pun intended, is night and day. It’s not just that the place is more crowded; it’s that it’s overrun with rude dude-bros who have no basic grasp of gym etiquette. Almost every time we go, we’ll find at least one or two guys who simultaneously claim several pairs of dumbbells AND several machines and switch off, basically taking up half the gym at once. In addition to being a horrible way to exercise, this is also rude because it means nobody can use half a dozen pieces of equipment until a single person is finished with his workout. I’m all for a gym that doesn’t look down on beginners, but this is the first gym I’ve ever been to where the staff doesn’t crack down on stuff like that. This is still a great value for the money, but it’s definitely harder to use if you’re used to a more considerate atmosphere. ORIGINALREVIEW: I’ve been a weightlifter for about twenty years, so I’ve been to my share of gyms. PF sometimes gets a bad rap from gym snobs(exactly the kind of people they want to avoid) but I’ve found this location in particular to be fantastic. There are plenty of machines and free weights, no wait, and everything is very clean. My only possible suggestion would be to add heavier weights, but they go up to 60 pound dumbbells which is more than adequate for most people’s needs. And the price is just fantastic! I have the black card and frequently bring a guest for no additional cost.

Everyone makes fun if planet fitness not being a real gym… ok so you can dead lift, who cares! It’s open 24 hours and your only other option is gb3, being that I had a stalker there and the staff refused to do anything I made the switch and I like it. They have the hydro massages, tanning beds and tons of cardio, pretty decent amounts of weights. It gets a little packed around 5 but that’s normal for any gym. It’s not in the greatest area of town but I’ve never had any problems over there and I go pretty late. Overall I like it for what it is. Cheap membership and not a bad gym!

So far so good! Happy to have a gym really close to home. My entire family and I joined and we all are enjoying it. The only cons I personally have is that there is no pool and no room for exercise classes. But I guess those aren’t deal breakers, so whatever.
