I recommend people to come here. It was my first time going there good service & food. By the way the pot stickers were on point

So my mother in law had some chow main from this place the other night and told me to come here and try it out. I called in for takeout and the guy on the phone said my food would be ready in 15 mins. So when we got there our food wasn’t cooked, if this was the only problem I would understand, the order wasn’t even placed! They were not even apologetic about it either. The food is good but not amazing. The customer service was poor and the setting was tended to very poorly.

Very bad service, waitress don’t know what their doing and messing up your orders. Manger is very rude to customers I absolutely do not recommend this place at all very bad.

I have been coming here since I was a young boy. It has always satisfied my need for Chinese food. Quite frankly, it’s one of the best places I have ever eaten for Chinese. It’s a must try!

So me & my family had dinner the other night at New Chine Café, we have been going to this restaurant for years. We ordered the usual pan fried noodles pork fried rice and sizzling beef sizzling combo. This time we found something very disturbing in our pork fried rice. A wad of hair inside the rice!!! It looked like it was deliberately put in there. I can tell you this me and my family will never go to this restaurant ever again. If there was a negative star or five negative stars I would post it.

A week ago my husband and I decided to grab a bite at Famous Burger but was disappointed to find the establishment closed at 8pm, as we drove down Blackstone heading towards Tower we see this little place and decided to stop by. It’s a little run down and nothing fancy but the waitress was really nice and attentive. We ordered broccoli beef and the sizzling combo and I must say it was quite tasty and cheap for the portions. My husband was very pleased he raved about the food to his friends with intentions on returning very soon for a second go around. So today we pile the kids in the car and invite a good friend and head over to the New China Café. We order a nice amount of food to feed everyone and we all begin to feast. As I drift off into taste buds heaven I’m thinking how awesome it will be to return home to a clean kitchen and a full when suddenly the silence is broken by the unbelievable… Someone yelled out «A roach» not just anywhere but on the wall crawling right behind me, immediately disgusted and instantly lacking an appetite I sit at the table in disbelief. The kids made the matter worse as they pointed the roach out to the poor waitress who immediately yelled in embarrassment before killing this disgusting brown scavenger. Not to long following the surprise entrance of this unwanted resident of this establishment another roach appears as if to join the party. By this point I’m completely irritated and upset and to make matters worse the waitress informs management who immediately disappeared to the back, leaving the waitresses to deal with us. I ask for the check seconds after the second sighting, as we get ready to leave I began to grow angry ay the fact that the manager completely removed herself from the situation as if to ignore the problem at hand. I tell the waitress that I am ready to pay however I will only pay the check with the manager. I paid half the bill and walked out!

This place is DELICIOUS!
Their pot stickers are homemade and perfectly fried. My two favorite dishes are the Sizzling Shrimp and the Pan Fried Noodles with Kung Pao Chicken. I personally always ask for no salt or MSG, which makes the veggies and flavors of each dish really stand out.
VERY friendly staff and hospitable; it always feels as if walking into a friend’s home. I would advise going on a weekday, as weekends can be SUPER busy!

This use to be my favorite but Service is SO bad when the place gets
does the quality of food. got take out and felt like I got all the food that sat. wont be going back

Love this place. How can people dislike it? I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid & the food is still great. My personal favorites are the shrimp chow mein with vegetables or pan fried noodles with a side of sizzling combo. Pork fried rice is pretty good too & as a side dish I always get the fried chicken & ask for some sriracha as a dipping sauce. Favorite Chinese spot in Fresno hands down!

Love love love this place! Now live in Los Angeles and no place here compares. My kids and I would go every Friday when we lived in fresno and now it’s a must whenever we head up to north california can’t wait for the next visit!

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Pasty sweet and sour pork. Mushy pan fried noodles. Dry steamed rice. Tasteless chicken. Bad bad bad. The only tasty thing was the shrimp in the Chow Mein. Oh, and the pot stickers were alright. I’m so sorry China Chop Suey has closed up the street.

Hole in the wall that offers a good solid nice portion of Chinese food. Descent menu selection. Place can get noisy during lunch hours so go around 2−3pm or get it to go. Recommend any of the beef plates especially the ginger beer. Nice cuts if beef with no «weird» pieces. Two people with soft drinks was around $ 20.

Good food but there are no Asian customers.

I live up the street from here but had never tried it. Tonight my wife and I decided to give it a shot and I called in an order for carry-​out.
I ordered Orange Chicken over Fried Rice and the BBQ Pork Appetizer.
FIrst of all the Orange Chicken tasted more like a very citrusy Sweet & Sour chicken. but that wasn’t so bad in and of itself, a lot of places make Orange Chicken differently…
I was a few pieces into my meal when I got to a piece that tasted like old spoiled chicken. I wasn’t sure at first but I spit it out and smelled it, definitely smelled off. I went through the other pieces and inspected them. Some were good and tasted fine, others smelled off. I checked to see if it was the sauce but the sauce tasted and smelled differently and not of bad chicken. I was disappointed. I figure I was in okay shape anyway since I had ordered BBQ Pork as well, sadly it was super dried out and not at all what I expected.
My wife had Garlic Chicken which to their credit tasted fine and the chicken was all good which is why I didn’t give it just one star.
Bad chicken is not excusable though, I doubt I’d want to order from here again.

Great local spot for Chinese food! A coworker told me about New China and now it’s one of our favorite places to get a good, inexpensive bite to eat. LOVE the broccoli chicken but really everything I’ve tried has been great. I even got a friend who hates veggies hooked on the almond chicken, which has lots of diced veggies.
If you’re going at lunch time, be prepared to face a packed house. But trust me, it’s worth the wait!

My friend likes this place specifically because of their shrimp fried rice. I remembered when I used to work nearby and some coworkers would order from here and from what I remember, is good as well. Unfortunately, not when I was here a few weeks ago. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour pork. The rice was greasy to me, more so than other places or maybe it was just time with my meal but it gave me a stomach ache. There were plentiful shrimps and the sweet and sour pork was alright; i don’t remember the pork being that tough but it can also be due to that I don’t particularly order sweet and sour pork when I eat chinese food.
Prices are great and they do give you a lot for the money. I would definitely come back and try other dishes for accuracy/

This place is amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to get Chinese from. Every single dish that I’ve tried is good. Their soups are good too.
I’ve recently become a vegetarian and I don’t order all the things that I used to before, but it’s very vegetarian friendly. I like to order the Vegetable Chow Mein or the Sizzling Vegetable.
Their staff is friendly and you get tons of food at a low price.
