Millbrook Country Club Apartments

Sorry for the long review, but this is my first apartment so based on never renting prior, this is what I have to say.
5 stars for the price
4 stars for being in between both freeways 168 and 41
3 stars for the maintenance staff/​office staff
2 stars for area
1 star for the rest. If it’s not ants, it’d spiders if it’s not spiders it’s roaches if it’s not roaches… it’s BED BUGS. I’ve been here since February. For a 6 month lease in an efficiency apartment. Given, I got a furnished apartment due to the fact that I’m just starting out. Paid 490 a month which is fantastic.
But I guess I didn’t realize I had bed bugs till well its in the pictures. They are nocturnal bugs. So kinda hard to realize you got em till your boyfriend wakes you up at 5am to show you… now they accommodated me with a new (unfurnished) apartment for the time being till I requested a transfer (which was approved) but first thing I notice is roaches and a few baby spiders… still better than bed bugs. But asking around most of my neighbors say they have bug problems and what not and a few say the pest control couldn’t get rid of their bed bugs… now I’m not saying every apartment has bed bugs but my exoomates apartment did have roaches. And they are all around here. So it’s up to you. Friendly neighbors though over all if it weren’t for the traumatizing first renters experience, I would say it’s not a bad place to live. Just bring your own crap and bug bomb your apartment before you come, monthly spraying and don’t leave your doors open.
