They are a small store, but they carry almost everything you need. I walked in to find a leaf raker and the shop assistant helped me right away and was very good at recommending the right tool just for me. The customer service is superb, don’t be intimidated by the small size.

I generally prefer this type of smaller, locally owned hardware store over the Gigantic Monstrosities such as lowes and the home depot, while the big stores might have a larger selection, most of the time, you can find what you need here.
If you need help, the friendly staff will always be willing to help you find what you need. Most of the time I don’t even need to ask, they ask me when I walk in. Another thing that I like about this place is that they still have the Bins and bins of loose nuts and bolts and screws and things, very well organized by size and type. I don’t want to have to buy a whole box of bolts when I only need one or two, here, you can do that.

This is a very small store with not a large selection, but it is also not very busy so if you have any questions they are more than happy to help. They don’t have all the items the big stores have and that is kind of a bother because your number of options is limited. The one really good thing I witnessed was a customer came in to the store and had a plumbing question and the clerk was knowledgeable and explained the store had most of the parts but a few specialty items and that the man could go to a plumbing store in another part of town and get all the items in one place. That was the right thing to do instead of trying to sell the man just a few parts and then sending him somewhere else.

Ace has reopened since they changed locations. The new store in in the same shopping complex as the Fig Garden Library branch.
The staff is still very friendly and helpful. The customer service has always been great here.
The layout of the new store sucks! The aisles are too close together and way to high. It honestly feels claustrophobic. It seriously made me feel almost panicky and slightly nauseous. It’s not inviting at all. Just way to much stuff, in too small of a location.
I love the great staff, but I hate the new layout. Honestly will be shopping here less due to the layout. It is a claustrophobic persons nitemare! Shopping there isn’t worth getting nauseous over.

You can get your items cheaper and a big box store, but ever try and ask someone at Home Depot or worst WalMart a question. They have such a high rate of turnover you can’t get an answer. Pay a little more a support a local business where they great you with a smile and try and help you find exactly what you need. If they don’t have it in stock they order it for you…
