Lola’s Ricos Tacos

I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito. 3 times in a row. Nothing but eggs and potatoes. NO BACON :(
Low Rating due to being tight a** with the bacon.
Food is good but don’t order and expect a big portion.
UPDATE: I have now tried a chorizo breakfast burrito and again only eggs and potatoes!

You get what you pay for. Cheap tacos. Shit any thing with enough chile on it will taste good. If your hungry and you have $ 5 you can get 4 tacos and soda. It’s ok but the reviews are over rated. Cheep food means cheap meat.
No where to sit, cheap plates they drizzle every where.

Very good asda tacos. They are best when you eat them right after you order them. The seasoning is aswesome and the meat is juicy and tender. I always need to eat there when I am on that side of town. Only once I ended up getting a couple burnt tortillas, but other than that, awesome place to eat.

I went to Lolas because there was a long line in Al’s ricos. But my mistake, worst tacos and worst service ever. Now I know why Lolas is always empty.

It’s hard to complain about tacos that are this cheap. With that said, the carne asada tacos I ordered were pretty good but not as good as Al Ricos (their competition).
They didn’t include a side of salsa with my tacos which is a huge thumbs down for me. I’m sure I could have asked for it but normally you don’t have to at these places. Unfortunately, I was on my lunch break and didn’t notice until I got back to work.
For those of ypu who care, they mash their beans here. If I remember correctly, Al Rico’s doesn’t mash their beans.
In regards to the customer service, I ordered the combination plate that didn’t include the drink because it was cheaper. When I ordered I made that clear. I ordered some extra tacos on the side and thought the total price of my order was more than it should be. I paid anyway and waited for my receipt which I planned on analyzing. That’s when the person who took my order gave asked me what kind of drink I wanted. I told her I ordered the combo without the drink and she just gave me a blank stare. She didn’t say sorry or offer to fix her mistake. I was in a hurry and took the drink.
This place offers ok food but with shoddy customer service. If you want cheap tacos and live nearby this might be your best bet if you don’ t want to drive far. Otherwise, there’s plenty of other choices that offer bother better food and customer service at the same price.

This Lola’s tacos on ashlan puts very little meat in the tacos and every time I get a burrito there, the rice is always on top and meat is at the bottom. The Lola’s on cedar is so much better.

I have had Lola’s many times from the Blackstone location, but this was my first experience in the sit-​down Ashlan location.
The vibe is authentically Mexican — music playing, sangria signs, bilingual employees.
I always get 4 carne asada tacos with everything on them — classic and delicious, especially since it’s 2 tacos for $ 1.50. You can beat that!
During my time having lunch the restaurant was mildly occupied, with a variety of customers ranging from women with small children, to teens, to business professionals.
The quality of food is very good, the meat was delicious, and the corn tortillas are not too oily.
Try to pay in cash however — it is a 75 cent charge to use a card.

I was so surprised at how cheap (price wise) these tacos ate because they are pretty good! I love the tacos de asada and lengua. The saucw is good. Guacamole is good. And I’ve been here a couple time to have a breakfast burrito de chorizo. Yum! Definitely recommend

No sopes. boo. tacos ok. If you have a menu prepare what is on it. Craving sopes. Wish there was truth in advertising. Don’t make me go to Als.

I’ve tried to like this place but I won’t be back. The service is inconsistent. Once I waited two minutes at the drive up to be acknowledged despite the fact a staff member looked right at me as soon as I drove up. They get orders wrong too. Today I ordered a bean burrito and was charged $ 4.50. I questioned the price and they said it had not gone up. I got home and had been given/​charged for a burrito with untasty meat, rice and whole beans (which I dislike). I called them but no one answered the phone and a generic voice said to leave a message. Based on my encounters, I doubt they even care about their mistake.

Tacos are delicious! And the price makes them that much better! Came by here to reward myself after the gym and devoured about 6 tacos. Definitely recommend.
PS. Cashier is gorgeous

I don’t see how this place could have a good review. Our tacos were soggy, lukewarm and lacking flavor. We also ordered the super nachos… disgusting. Soggy, watery guacamole, meat was dry and old tasting. IT’s like movies theater nachos with meat… actually movie theater nachos would be better. It’s not like we arrived late… it was 6ish for dinner. Super disappointed. :(Next time I will just wait for the taco truck down the street next to the 99 on Ashlan… they are amazing…

Incredibly cheap! More affordable than a taco truck! But bring cash because they charge 75 cents using a debit card. Quality of food was okay. Had better tacos but Presentation was good as well. I would recommend this place.

I love this place so much. I’ve been going to Lola’s since I was a little kid. There food is amazing I always get asad tacos or chicken tacos with cheese on them and that is the best. There red salsa is really good to.

Gross and disgusting! Tacos are watery and the place is dirty as hell. The service is crappy. The food is cheap and worthy of it’s price.

I love this place! I stumbled across it by chance. I used to only to go that OTHER taco stand across the street. One day the line was too long so I came here instead. I AM SO GLAD I DID.
Holy wow, they have the moistest chicken I have ever had. I love this place! We go here exclusively now! So yum!

Why do they charge a fee of 1.00 $ to use the debit card, if were already paying for the food I just think it’s stupid.

Since I am apparently the newly crowned « Unilocal Duke of Lola’s Rico’s Tacos» I figured I should take a break from checking in and write a review for the legendary taco stand.
Located in a lovely.umm.er…parking lot… this little stand has some AMAZING tacos!!!
Me and my boss always run down there for lunch. I highly recommend it! The prices will have you and your friends slapping each other in disbelieve.
Affordable and… DELICIOUS!
Unwrap your plate of authentic Mexican goodness and sink your teeth into heaven on a tortilla. Your mouth will water with the force of a tropical waterfall as your taste buds quiver in joy. Not sure what to give this place, as I was unable to try their tacos. I came around 9:15 and was told their was no asada or chicken?! Will update my review someday when I come a little earlier and am actually able to try the tacos.

The asada tacos are amazing and cheap!
