Hong Hong Chinese Restaurant & Take Out

Overall decent little hole in the wall restaurant. Not much of a sit down as a lot of people order for take out. Place was super cold upon arrival and empty. Ordered my usual woh won ton soup, steam rice, house special chow me in and and order of chicken wings. Chicken wings were delicious and tasty! Won ton soup was pretty small just enough for me and my husband, missing some flavor won tons were good only a few in the bowl. Chow mein was good, good serving size but missing a bit of flavor for me. Overall not bad for a hole in the wall. Again more of a take out place than sit down.

This place is great ! The people are super nice and the food is really good the price is not bad at all for the amount of food you get!!! A must try!

My go to neighborhood chinese food. There are a couple other places in the area but this one is the best. Great prices and food is never overly greasy like some other chinese food places I’ve been to. Staff is really friendly too. :)

I heard from a friend that this place used to be great, but that it changed ownership and it’s not the same. I would definitely agree that the food is really not that good.
I had the orange beef and my husband had the orange chicken. The «orange» flavor had an alcohol flavor in the background and was just overall a fake orange flavor. It was weird.
The fried rice had gorgeous color, but that’s it. It was white rice with the color and style of friend rice. Incredibly bland and dissatisfying.
The pork chow mein was decent. Minimal flavor but the noodles were perfectly cooked.
We also had an order of pork which was actually REALLY good. That’s what bumped my review up to two stars. That and the prices are fantastic — but it’s not really worth paying for.
We won’t be visiting this restaurant again. The staff is friendly and they got the food out pretty quickly — but it’s just not that good at all.

I love this place. My boyfriend and I come here often!
The place has a nice, relaxing atmosphere… the curtains make it seem secluded and peaceful. The owners are really nice.
You must try the Woh Won Ton Soup. It is amazing! We’ve also tried a couple of the combination plates, which were all amazing as well.
So far, the only thing I do not like are the noodles. They are too soggy!

Starting with the only positive comments. The service and staff were wonderful.
Now lets discuss food, or what they consider to be called food…
Everything we ate there had a really odd flavor, it even permeated the chicken wings… cant put my finger on it but it just didn’t taste right.
ordered the chow mein, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, and chicken wings… I would have been so much better off going to Panda Express…
the real crazy part was the left overs in the morning. the sweet and sour pork turned grey and had the consistency of old gravy, bizarre. The chow mein was horrid and the fried rice looked like it was a week old not a couple of hours… it all ended up in the trash.
I am looking for those great hole in the wall restaurants and sadly this was a hole in the wall but calling it a restaurant would be overshooting the mark.

Very friendly couple that owns this restaurant and have been around since 1984. Food is priced really cheap for what you get. Love their orange chicken, brandy chicken wings, Combo plates (chow mein, fried rice, and a choice of fried shrimp or sweet and sour pork) for like 5 bucks. tomato beef curry chow mein, paper wrap chicken, wontons, and potstickers. The potstickers (pan fried dumplings) and wontons are house made and so delicious. The only con to this place is that they only accept cash.
