Very good food at a very good price! Service is not very good at this place I must admit.

Based on my personal experiences the food here is good & I usually receive my order in a short manner of time, however I noticed that the hospitality from the waitresses are horrible. I am curious to know who the owner is, & if he/she is aware that their staff members are being rude to customers. I would like to bring this message to the owners attention, & in doing so, hope that they will train their employees to be more courteous while on the job. I went in yesterday for lunch & this particular waitress who appears to be in her late 40’s, tall, & wearing glasses was very rude & disrespectful to my family & I while taking our orders. What struck me the most was how she raised her voice & asked us in a harsh way to tell her what we wanted. Because of the bad service & disrespectful attitude from that waitress, I won’t be going back to this restaurant in the future.

Its a good place to go if you don’t know where else to go. My to go place is bamboo chopsticks but sadly they were closed so a friend suggested me here we sat down and got seated right away. The soda came from a can which was new to me but I didn’t mind it. I ordered some pork buns, egg flower soup and a #11 special plate. The Orange chicken was good but odd. The pieces were almost… shredded? Its hard to explain but like I said it was good the noodles and rice were good nothing special. But oh my goodness the pork buns were amazing!!! So good! You should defiantly try them The prices are good and service was super nice and friendly

While this place is good. I don’t like the fact that they give you mussels when you order oysters. Mussels and oysters have two very different taste and texture. I love oysters, so you can imagine my disappointment when they bring out mussels instead. The first time I thought it was a mistake. But there’s no ginger mussel on the menu. Just ginger oyster. Three times I ordered the same dish. Now I’m convinced that this establishment thinks mussels are oysters. Please correct this. Ginger oyster means ginger oyster. Don’t insult your customers by giving them mussels and saying they are oysters. Some of us do know the difference. Guys should try ordering the ginger oyster for yourselves so that I know my taste buds aren’t insane…

I have been dining at Golden Dynasty for years and their food has been consistently good, the portions generous, and the prices reasonable. The service is fast when they are not understaffed.

Always come here with my family but never managed to write a review. I seriously love everything I order here past and present. The food is always spot on. The food always have the *wok breath* which is a must! The Chinese menu always has more specialties than the English menu so I would bring someone that knows how to read Chinese if you want that authentic feel for your tastebuds! Or simply ask them what’s their specialties… the ladies are always so sweet and willing to help. Give this mom and pop place a try…

Going to this place was a «twilight zone» moment. I originally was going to Moy’s however at 11:15 they were not open still, When I called Moy’s they said they would be open at 11:30. I said your sign says 11:00. The gentleman then said 11:30, okay. SMH. So needless to say, I was feeling under the weather and craving sizzling rice soup and wanted some place close by with decent reviews. This seemed to fit that bill. When we walked in there was a weird smell, like old stall, curtains that had been hanging in a smokers apartment. There were 2 people in there when we arrived and the server motioned for us to sit at a table. She did not greet us or ask how many. She then ask about drinks I said I will have hot tea and ice water. My dinning partner did not even say anything and she began to walk away. I said wait, and asked my friend what did you want? my friend said the same. The server then brought, 2 tea cups and 1 water. I asked could we have another water. The server walked away, sighed and got the water. At that point I was ready to go. I asked my friend if they wanted to go somewhere else. They said that it was fine; and all though if I had been by myself, I would have left. None the less, we stayed and ordered sizzling rice soup, imperial spare ribs, house fried rice and scallops, snow peas and mushrooms. The food was the saving grace. It was fresh and held up really nicely, especially for the price. As the restaurant began to fill, I could tell there was a lot of regulars and that they received different service than we did. My friend went to restroom and suddenly I was being tossed to go containers and a bill. No asking if we were finished. It was almost as if there was a secret group and we crashed«their» party. I packed up the food took out my money, and just as my friend was just sitting down again the money was scooped up a whisked to the cash register. After we left, I looked at my friend and I said, Did we just survive the twilight zone? I’m not sure I will go back unless I want to feel like a party crasher again.

The food is okay. But I’m giving it two stars because the workers are really rude. The first time I went we dined in and customer service was terrible, the second time I placed my order through the phone and she was super rude to me and yelling. Place isn’t as clean and I waited forever for my food. Probably won’t be going back.

If you want great food at a cheap price, this is the place to go. I always order their Yung chow fried rice, imperial spare ribs, and honey walnut shrimp. Super flavorful and absolutely delicious. They have the best honey walnut shrimp in town. Its not cheaply made like most places. They’re also the only place I know of that serves imperial spare ribs. If you haven’t had it, you should! They also have cheap lunch specials throughout the day. You get more than enough food per person for under 10 bucks!

Im perfectly struggling to write this review right now, as my right hand is busy finishing the leftover food I got from this bloody good Chinese Restaurant serving real Cantonese Cuisine while my other hand can’t wait to share my great experience; and for those of you Americans used to the status quo, don’t fret, they have your typical americanized Chinese favorites too like orange chicken and kung pao chicken. I agree with Dave L a Unilocal reviewer that this place is excellent and minimally americanized. Honestly I would recommend requesting for their«Chinese menu» instead of the normal menu and ordering it from there, because just like when you go to «in and out burger» you would order from the secret menu, and not from the regular old menu, because its just boring to order from the non-secret menu? but if you are boring, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, just go ahead with the normal menu. But for some of us excited for a culinary adventure and actually want to try and savor some good Chinese food, you know what to do. A good indicator of a Chinese restaurant serving REAL Chinese food is actually by judging its vegetable dishes, because it is the toughest thing to make tasty in comparison to meat, and Golden Dynasty sure excels in making great vegetable dishes that taste and look like the authentic Chinese cuisine. Most people forget that the Chinese is known to make some of the tastiest vegetable/vegan dishes since they were once poor and meat was reserved for the rich, most of us in these modern lavish day, would end up ordering just the protein, I challenge you to try mainly their vegetable dishes and maybe have one main protein dish like the steam chicken instead. My recommendation is to order the Szechuan eggplant $ 6.95, Chinese vegetable and black mushrooms $ 6.25 and the Combination vegetable clay-pot $ 6.25 from the Chinese menu. All these dishes really reflect the beauty and simplicity of real Chinese food, the taste is perfectly seasoned, while the vegetables were cook to perfection, and even though these dishes were all vegetables dishes, they all have a unique flavor and character. I am currently a vegan for a month while I write this review, and as a temporary vegan, this place really made my diet requirements really a breeze, so I would say this place is vegan friendly to an extend. Their service is really friendly and almost authentic to how cantonese restaurants servers are back at home in my home country of Malaysia. They are pleasant, efficient and fast, and to an extent friendly, but don’t expect for them to be chatty and extremely congenial like at most american restaurants. They often appreciate a nice compliment of their food and will rarely drop a golden smile. Most american however would receive this sort of service as rude because they aren’t used to it. The interior is that standard look of a cheap looking Chinese restaurant with that 1980’s grotesque banquet chair, lack of interior design and some random Chinese cheap art. Its not bad, just not the spot if you would want to impress your date. Overall great hole in the wall Chinese restaurant that keeps a golden secret of its delicious menu.

Food is good, always busy here. My favorite is steamed chicken with ginger oil, salt & pepper shrimp, and Chinese broccoli.

Husband and I went for lunch on his day off while children were in school. We both chose the Buffet option. Between the both of us we ate a little of everything there was to offer. Now the buffet itself has a decent selection, but out of all the dishes available the only dishes we enjoyed was the lemon pepper chicken, spacey beef, and fried noodles. The egg rolls are small but they are semi flavorful. Everything else was really bland and not very tasty. It seemed to us to be very generic. We won’t be going back.

Been looking for a decent Chinese food restaurant that’s inexpensive, and I’ve found it! The food is good, and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is a little underwhelming, there’s nothing special about the décor itself, but if that doesn’t bother you, then be prepared for a treat.

Worst place ever. We sat down to order and the Chinese woman was the rudest server I ever encountered. I felt so disrespected I just got up and walk right out. Worst place in Fresno. Don’t recommend it.

Never ever ever again the service is horrible! The food isn’t bad but the Chinese ladies are horrible they make us feel like we should cater to them instead of them providing us service. People stop going here!

I’m a fried rice critic. I I have been in fresno for less than 4 months and tried some places to find my comfort food. I came here and got my rice and chicken corn soup… i was so delighted to find that this place is bomb! Reminds me of the way my grandma and grampa restaurant was! I’m in love. Their portions are large so be prepared to have leftovers!

My favorite Chinese restaurant in town. From CA to NY — it’s hard to find a more authentic, quick, and delicious spot. When my parents ask what I want to do for dinner my first night in town this place is first on my mind. Great prices and fast service = top of my list! Nothing fancy here but a/c is blasting on the hottest days in the No. Pan fried Hong Kong style noodles are hard to find elsewhere. They do this dish right — authenticity guaranteed. Seafood is fresh, and has good flavor — highly recommend!
