I was so excited to see Fosters Freeze and it did not disappoint. I had a vanilla dip in a cup and it was so good. They had friendly staff and the he restaurant was clean. If I’m ever in Fresno again I will definitely visit this location and bring my friends too.

Food and actual service was decent but the place was filthy. Soda machine and surrounding area was sticky and makes me wonder when the last time the actual nozzles were cleaned. I imagine I probably was drinking soda with a ton of bacteria and mold. Dust on windows and everything above eye level. Needed to be swept and mopped. There was an entire serving of fries on the inside mat in front of the side door that was there for at least the 20 minutes I was there. Workers were using profanity amongst each other… I had my neice with me. It’s a working environment anyways and was very unprofessional. If I was the manager I’d be replacing all staff members that were working at that afternoon.

I got the Hot Fudge milkshake, and it was heavenly. It inspired me to go outside and slurp it down on the curb in the evening summer breeze & remember what it’s like to be a kid. That good. If you’re skipping this place because it doesn’t have the right ~ambience~ you’re cheating yourself.

Taco Thursdays. Three grilled chicken tacos for $ 2.09? Yes please!!! The staff here is cool too, they hook it up. not some chintzy little scraps of chicken, they load it up. And you gotta try the salsa verde nachos! I dig this place.

The staff here is world class! Such friendly people working here. .they always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and they never make us feel bad if we change up our order after placing it. .they are always accommodating. Not to mention they serve us quality food and take their time (you don’t get that with too many fast foods joints) I am going to make sure to go out of my way to call the manager and let them know how great of a job everyone is doing.

The architecture looks 50’s retro all space age chrome. The inside is clean, cheery and bright with 50’s style graphic art on walls and red and white colors predominating throughout.
They sell a mix of main dish items such asburgers, chicken strips, corn dogs, grilled cheese, and burritos, but Fosters Freeze is all about the ice cream, so I ordered a rootbeer float. The ice cream was the perfect consistency and balanced with just the right amount of rootbeer. It was exactly what a rootbeer float should be. They also sell milkshakes, soft serve cones, sundaes, and banana splits.
