Friendly staff, good food and good service. They are always happy to accommodate vegetarians. It gets pretty busy on the weekends so go early.

Cute little place to grab a bite of Mexican food. My plate was Luke warm and I was not a fan of the rellanos. the service is good. I’m not returning, shortly after eating here I got food poisoning.

I ordered a bean & cheese burrito($ 6). It was the same size as a bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell. Refried beans were okay. However, I was extremely disappointed. Should of went to Robertitos or Aresenios. Next time!

I can’t believe there are negative reviews for this place. I’ve been here many times(10+) and have never had a bad experience. I always like the food and the family atmosphere is great. I will always be a customer as long as they’re around.

I really want to like Cuca’s. But, the last few times have been disappointing. Tonight, 1. Wife ordered shrimp tostada. She doesn’t do onions or peppers, and told the server. Server says mom problem, it doesn’t come with peppers anyway. It came with a LOT of peppers. 2 I ordered beef flautists and a chicken tostada. I got chicken Laura’s and no tostada. I would’ve told the server, but she never came back until we were done. 3. We ordered a large guacamole for the table. It was maybe a 3 inch shallow bowl. Large??? 4. I asked server to take my tostada off the bill, as it never came. OK, she says. Not even an Oops or Sorry. 5 the food is just… blah, IMO. Watery salsa, no punch. I don’t get it. This used to be better, or so I remember. There are so many great spots around… we will focus on Cochinito Contento down the street, and give Castillo’s a try when they open. But I really hope Cuca’s gets it together.

Great food, very saucy with a lot of flavor, I do appreciate the atmosphere. It’s a family owned business, I don’t know the family very well, but they’ve been around for years serving great food and creating a unique flavor that is very different from the rest of Fresno’s Mexican restaurant. The dishes are very affordable and very large portion so come with an appetite. They tend to run a small staff but they do not lack in good service

Always a good meal… Menudo is consistent but today for some reason, our fresh handmade corn tortillas were raw in the inside… It’s ok… Everything was great! Thanks!

fun, family style Mexican spot in the Tower district — good salsa, good enchiladas, nice fajitas – the quality of meat is not always the best, but, it’s worth the price–

Average. Salsa was a bit watery/runny. Fish taco. Flavor was great. Regular burrito. Meat too salty. Price is high.

First time having breakfast here. I have had breakfast at the one in China Town and lunch. I did enjoy lunch and breakfast was ok. Today at the Tower location was a disappointment. The sauce for the Chile Corodado reminded me of Hormel Chile and that is defiantly the wrong taste. Service was not up to par in an empty restaurant either.

UPDATE: Just wanted to follow up and say that we wrote to management and they never bothered to respond. So it goes, I guess.

Saw this place on television and went to try it out for dinner last week. tv stated they were family ran from generations. famous for Chile Verde and chile colorado. Ordered colorado. sauce was thick and there were hardly any meat. Also ordered Chile Verde burrito. The Chile Verde was really strong in odor that neither my husband and I were able to eat it. They had fresh made flour tortillas so that was delicious because it was fresh and warm. they were a little thicker and breadier than usual tortillas. add a soda to get get a total of around $ 28 after taxes. it was okay. I’ve had better Colorado and Chile verde. The tortillas I could go back for, but not the others. But I probably will not return there as I know other places are better in food quality and to my tasting.

Be warned, this is not Authentic Mexican food. Save your money and go to Taco Bell for same quality food. Service was okay food was bland, salsa had no spice-tomato paste and tacos were hard shell tortillas. I wi never step foot in this place. There is way better options in town for Mexican food.

3 ½ stars. Nothing to rave about, nothing to complain about. Chips and salsa are good. Solid food, neutral service. Menu resembles any other Mexican restaurant’s. Cuca’s has been around a long time… easily accessible and should be given a chance.

I will never eat here again. Took more than 40 mins to order to hit our plates. Not to mention, my chicken in my burrito was not cooked properly. I took a bite and saw pink chicken and I was still charged for it. I do not recommend this place

Cuca’s is a good place to drop by for Mexican food in tower. I feel it’s authentic and the atmosphere is so warming. It’s a small shop but it just makes me feel so at home. Service is good and the food is pretty good too. I know what real Mexican food should taste like, trust me, and this is not far from it. Their fish tacos are a must!!! Try Cuca’s on a lighter day though, you’ll enjoy it.

Not bad Not consistant on their Menudo. Sometimes way too much salt. Other times too watery Sometimes the servers tend to talk among themselves and not tend to their tables. When«Momma» was still alive, the original location downtown rocked.

I have ate here before with good results, but after my dinner tonight, I am not sure sure if the quality of the food is there anymore. While the waitress was very nice and attentive, the food just seemed to lack flavor. Their salsa which I remember being delicious and fresh, is now just sort of tasteless. It was still definitely fresh though. For my entrée I opted for the beef fajitas, which members of my family have ordered before and always enjoyed. The fajitas I got tonight were about as tasteless as the salsa, the beef had almost no flavor to it. In fact the only thing that had any real flavor were the onions, and the hot salsa they give you to put on it. The only way I could coax even the tiniest amount of flavor out of my meal was to liberally add salt, and soak my little self made fajita tacos in the hot sauce.(Which was by the way, actually pretty good.) If the price was on the cheap side I wouldn’t have that big of a deal with it, but sadly the fajitas here cost $ 11.95, and at that price I expect my food to not need to be doused in salt and hot sauce just to make it appetizing. Add on a soda and a tip, and my bill was nearly $ 20 bucks! I don’t think I would come here on my own again, but I suppose I would if someone I was with wanted to. The food isn’t really terrible, its just mediocre.
