In the week following my loved one’s sudden death, everyone at this place was kind, professional, and caring to me and my family… except for Anthony. Yes, he was professional, but each time we met or spoke with him, even as I sat in his office sobbing, not ONCE did he ever acknowledge our grief or say«I’m sorry for your loss.» Not one time, not to me or my family. Even the parking attendant at this place said to us «I’m so sorry for your loss.» But not Anthony. Not once. My family and I still speak of this bizarre anomaly. As they say«you had one job…»

Thanks to the reviews on Unilocal,we chose Sinai Chapel for our mother’s funeral. It is an attractive place. The outside is nothing to write home about, but for Queens, it is actually quite nice. The inside is lovely. The staff was competent and nice. A special shout out to the man who runs the parking lot. When he said he was sorry for our loss, we felt it. Really nice man. We were in the small chapel downstairs and because of that were given extra time for the service, which we needed. If you have 50 or fewer guests, you might want to trade the extra time for the smaller room. The upstairs chapel is, however, more beautiful
