Had an itch for some old fashioned, egg rolls. Ordered the beef and broccoli with pork fried rice lunch special, 8 pan fried pork dumplings, and 3 egg rolls. Now, this isn’t your fancy gourmet cuisine, but this is the proletariat-type food I ate growing up. The egg rolls were deliciously thick, greasy, and filling. In retrospect I actually ordered too much. I underestimated how filling this type of food can be. The beef in the rice dish was a bit bland for my taste(needed salt), but luckily I had some sriracha sauce to kick it up a notch. Pan fried pork dumplings were exactly how I wanted them to be: big, thick, juicy, with a side of dipping sauce. Delivery was fast– the driver came 20 min earlier than anticipated and called beforehand. Overall, I think this place is solid if you are craving Chinese takeout food. Big plus is that they’re on seamless(a lot of takeout places in the area aren’t), and the delivery is fast.

Very quick delivery to Flushing. Delivery guy was nice. Only thing, the scallops and broccoli was a little bland. Other than that, it’s alright.

Yesterday we visited my mom. She really wanted Chinese food. So, we decided to try this place again. Well, it was pretty lousy. Roast pork full of fat and parts you could not chew. Her chicken was not quite as bad, but tasted like cornstarch, Egg roll did not seem fresh. Vegetable dumplings kind of funky. Sorry mom, no more…

Horrible… took me an hour and a half to get my food. When the guy arrived i asked him why it took so long. His response was«I dont know» and walked away. I open my bag and there are no utensils and my drinks are warm…

The delivery is very fast for the area and they are on Seamless($ 15 minimum — ugh) The food is ok at best. I bet that it’s not as delicious as your usual take-out spot, but if you must order on seamless and need it to be delivered quickly this is a considerable option. Shrimp with lobster sauce is ok. Pretty salty, but it works out. Sometimes they will forget to give you the brown rice that you asked for. Lo mein and other noodle options are too lacklustre.(Order from Mian, because noodles are their thing) Their wontons are icky. I had the Szechuan wontons and they were far from what any Chinese person would even think of eating. Gross. Nope. Avoid. Food is pretty inexpensive. Quality is meh-ok. Delivery is fast. Lots of hit-or-misses.

Today I just bought a take out. while I was waiting, I saw one of the cashier eating lunch. After she finished she wash the take out box and reused for customer. So nasty. Disgusting. This is my last time.

Best Chinese food in walking distance area. Like any other Chinese restaurant, it has it’s off days. They are quick and always get my order right. They have an A-Grade and make tasty food. What else is there?

Order took an hour and a half and was wrong. Restaurant called after I placed the order on seamless and it took an hour and a half even with them telling me it was on my way. When I called to complain they hung up and I had to call again and they said they had a computer problem.

I wish I could put 0 stars. I ordered my food at 10:04pm, within 20 minutes I got the out for delivery text, waited past the estimated wait time 10:55pm — no food. Called Grubhub, they called the restaurant — restaurant said it was out for delivery and ETA11:33pm. Waited till 11:45 — no call no show and took my money! And they stopped answering the phone. This place is absolutely the worst for customer service and business. They were so quick to take the money out of my account but not to deliver my food! Even if I got my food 2 hours is a crazy wait time. People of Queens, avoid this Chinese restaurant there are many others in the neighborhood that respect customers, that are cheaper too.

I thought it’s not bad. I ordered Shanghai roll, pint hot and sour soup, and seafood chow fun for pick-up. The food is decent, but a bit better and fresher compare to other nearby chinese food. The staff were pretty nice and friendly to me, but I thought maybe I spoke chinese and stuff…

Food is hit or miss… although it is nice inside. Deliver drivers are NASTY! If you give them less then a 5 $ tip they start screaming at you… has happened to me on many occasions… this is why I do not order from here no more !

My boyfriend and I decided to stay in on a snowy day and order some chinese food. Since we were lazy we used grub hub and found the best rated place near us. Unfortunately the food was bland. The egg roll was the best part. General Tso’s was not the least bit spicy or flavorful. The sweet and sour chicken wasn’t sweet or sour. We got no utensils, napkins or sauces. It was convenient but disappointing.

Their lunch special is insane! So much food for so little money! Everything I’ve tried at eastern has been good. I recommend the garlic sauce and their general tso. The general tso is different than what I am used to, but in a good way. They deliver quickly and always make substitutions if I ask.

I can’t believe I have not reviewed this place yet. I order from here all the time both the takeout and delivery are very very fast. Normally about 20 – 25 mins depending on how far away you are. The soups are very good. Especially the hot and sour. The appetizers are all pretty standard. The beef is also good no matter what veggie u get it with. The chicken is ok but general Tso chicken is below average. Fried rice is pretty good especially the house special, which is filled with meat. The spare ribs are normally good but are sometimes burned. The chicken wings and American food are average at best. The fries are terrible. They are either soggy and limp or crispy and filled with grease. Eastern would be 4 stars if they were more consistent. The soup is always great but never has the same ingredients. The staff is a bit grumpy and sometimes have trouble with English, but that is kind of standard for Chinese places in queens. They always forget plastic forks and rarely remember to give you enough mustard.

The«bathroom for customers only!!!» sign and the redundant«out of order» sign set the mood. The cold sesame noodles were pretty good(there’s also a hot version, not sure if there any differences other than temperature.) The peanut-type sauce was in a clump on the side which seemed unusual at first but worked out well since it provided a chance to experience the ingredients both solo and combined. Ribs were perhaps too sweet and a tiny bit overcooked but I liked them better as they went along.

I always go for finger foods if Im in a chinese resto. I ordered a hot and sour soup — it was okay. And then I got an order of vegetable roll — I felt like I was eating mostly the wrap instead of the vegetables inside. All in all– Good if you have no where else to go to eat and if it’s really late at night. They close at 11pm(well most chinese rest does!)

Solid place for take out or delivery. They carry the standard option you’d find on any local Chinese food place and they do a bit better than other places in the area. They use fresh ingredients it shows in the final product. On most most recent trip I ordered the din Sum which is always good. Nice thick dough(?) and fresh meat filling. It’s always a winner. I also got the Singapore rice noodle. It’s always filled with Shrimp and pork and the spices hit the spot. I also got the double cooked pork which I didn’t like too much because of the flavor, but it was still fresh. The person who takes your order is always friendly and the delivery is always quick. A $ 15 order usually gets you a few cans of soda too. When your in the mood for some cheap eats, this may very well be your spot.
