Kissimmee River Pottery

Went with a friend to pottery class off groupon, had a blast and the atmosphere was fun. We purchased some of the pottery we made however more than 6 months after the fact we have not since been contacted regarding the items we made and paid for to have fired and glazed. I understand that sometimes things happen and items may crack or brake in the firing process. Especially since we were all novices. However we made multiple attempts to contact, left phone numbers, emails and even stopped in to the store in person once to check on the status and all we wee told is that someone would contact us. Poor business approach in my opinion, could have at least notified us if there was a problem with what we had made. I would have loved to bring my mom back for a day class but not after this debacle. Very unfortunate.

The pottery was truly beautiful and affordable. Such a sweet staff, I am so happy I discovered this place. Would HIGHY recommend. Great for gifts!

The small business owner, John, is awesome. There is a cute little retail shop in the front of the building which has all sorts of pottery for sale. However, I went here for pottery classes. I signed up for the 8 week course [twice] and it was so much fun! Not only did John patiently work with me until I made something worth keeping, I had a blast while doing so! He is always there, so he is flexible with your schedule. Open studio is fun as well.
The atmosphere is super chill and very relaxed. I took a small break from the class to get settled in after a move, but I will certainly be signing up again! Highly recommend this place!
