I am at this thrift store at least once a week, if not more. I have never left this store empty handed. Their prices are reasonable and make it possible to constantly be stocking up on different outfits and accessories. What I do is buy outfits, wear them a few times, clean out what I don’t wear and then donate back to them. Everyone who works/volunteers here is super nice. They actually just reorganized the store and it looks fabulous. Great selection of adult and children clothes, kitchenware, shoes, furniture, and odds and ends. They have 50% off on Thursday by the way– so those good prices are even better!

I suppose beggars can’t be choosers, but it would be nice if quality of carts was consistant, or if they would let clients choose their food from available items as other food pantries do. I have been there twice due to financial difficulties, and both times I saw several carts go out with food I would have enjoyed eating, then received a cart full of food I would eat only out of necessity, and down lots of water to get rid of the taste. Again, I get it that I should just be grateful for anything, but being treated with some dignity would be a nice bonus.

Eligible parties can receive foods here twice a month; once in the first two weeks of each month, and a second time in the last two weeks of each month. What I love about TCFB, is that they always seem to have fresh produce. Just today there were hundreds of pounds of carrots. Last week there were pounds of yams and potatoes. But beware, the lines here are long. Expect to wait about 30 minutes, and maybe even longer just after opening hours. The volunteers here are amazing. But the people coming here for the donations tend to be pretty rude, and overall seem very ungrateful. Still, TCFB does great things for a lot of people, and they deserve 5 stars.

This review is for the Tri City Food Bank. My mom told me to get groceries from here. I’m not sure how you sign up for that, but free food food is always a plus. I’m guessing it’s because she’s a senior citizen? I waited in line for about 30 minutes and got like 100 delicious plums, 50 apples, a few yams, a watermelon, canned green beans, a loaf of bread, and some dessert. The volunteers use a shopping cart and bring the food to you. I brought a suitcase so I only had to make one trip from my car to my house. We get this amazing service twice a month! Be aware that the people who line up may be a bit crazy or weird. Keep to yourself and you’ll be good! Make sure you come at least 30 minutes prior to closing(4pm) or else they won’t serve you.
