Espresso drinks are decently made. Love how big and spacious the place is. Great place to study.

I love the Suju’s off of Thornton, but this is a stark difference. The service is less friendly and half as fast, the coffee is not brewed or mixed the same, and the pastries always seem to be a little more stale. The cookies here are ALWAYSSTALE — such a disappointment after bragging to friends. The other Suju’s never disappoints me, but after coming here probably two or three dozen times now, the service and menu tend to be just average at best. The seating is ample but the wifi is sloooooooow. Still, I love the original location enough to give this place three stars and an A-OK. But I do hope they hire similar staff to the Thornton location, with better overall attitudes, service and coffee making skills!

Incredibly slow in the morning. First time there in the morning, waited for 20 min to order, only 4 people ahead of me; then another 15 min just to get a polar cap, a drink that is pre-made. All they need to do is pour it into the cup, 30 second at most. Because of all the wait, I’m late for the Bart to work. I would never go there in the morning.

I have been a customer well over a decade and since they opened the Sundale location Im there on a daily basis. My norm is ranging from $ 10.00 — $ 20.00 daily. Keep in mind I love this place but the level of service and excuses and rudeness I got from Lupe and Fred was ridiculous. All I wanted was carrott juice but the we dont serve after 5 Oclock excuse came out along with there is a sign in the back stating such. Now shouldnt they have a sign where the customer can read it. Now Im debating on not coming in anymore. Its a shame. Its not like I tried to order a sandwich or salad two minutes before closing this was at 10:00P.M. I guess customer service is now a thing of the past.

Their coffee is sometimes hit or miss but always decent and a nice place to hang out after The Great 9pm Shutdown of Fremont. Their pastry/dessert case is consistently yummy, tasty, and fairly priced. Best of all, their breakfast sandwich is always a great option if you need a grab and go meal on your way out of town. This morning’s was the best I’ve had – super fluffy eggs and melty cheese. Great Fremont original. Also fantastic: oat Jack, Snickers bar thing, giant macaron and giant macaroOn, and green tea latte.

I stop by here every so often because of its convenient location, but it’s really just… meh. Pros: — The meltiness & flatness of their ham & cheese croissants. Just the way I like it. — White mocha is pretty good. — Smoothies are refreshing. — Spacious seating, good for getting work done. — Fairly fast wifi. Cons: — Red velvet didn’t taste like red velvet. I’m confused. — Ethiopian coffee tasted like a sweaty armpit on a ridiculously humid day at the BART station. I’ve had Ethiopian coffee before… never disgusting like this one was, though. — Snooty staff. You are not the only coffee shop that ever existed, and your coffee doesn’t come from some magical creature that poops gold. Get that stick out yo ass. — It is always so. Friggin. Loud in there. Holy. Well, I guess that’s out of their control, but don’t plan on doing important work here that requires a lot of concentration.

Maybe I have world in far too many coffee shops… BUT, it’s pretty common knowledge that when you make an iced espresso drink you put the ice in last. When you put the ice in first, on hot espresso, it melts. Kinda funny how that works huh? Lol! Evidently the staff at Suju’s makes it their own special melted kinda way. Gross. I asked the barista to remake my drink and explained why, and she argued why she was right and then reluctantly made me a new drink. in the correct order. To be honest it also bothered me that while ordering I had to repeat myself 3 times because the gentleman at the register couldn’t understand me. At all.

I. LOVE. THIS. COFFEE. SHOP. I also like Starbucks, but any great coffee shop not associated with Starbucks is also very welcome. From the outside it looks like it was a bank, that was converted into a coffee house. Inside, its a beautiful and spacious establishment. Very welcoming. I ordered a regular DRIPCOFFEE and it was a great cup of joe! She ordered a cup of HOTCOCOA, and it was very good and rich cup. Both are WINS! Parking is abundant, although it does share parking space with the local businesses in the Plaza so I’d imagine it does get busy. This is my new favorite coffee house in Fremont.

I’m happy I finally stopped into Suju’s while driving back today; it was a great coffee shop. The first thing I was struck by was that the parking and structure seems to be a former bank or similar… interesting. The space for reading, eating, conversing, pilfering free wifi is large and the place was pretty packed on a weekday afternoon. They’re were even people outside seated. Thought it was cool they sell tons of different types of coffee mugs, probably the most I’ve seen in one place! I really liked how they had several brews of regular coffee as options: dark, light, and something else with a third-world country name. I opted for a medium light roast for the boost. It was very light and fresh – awesome! I hate when coffee shops have coffee sitting around, plus it was nice to get fresh light roast in the afternoon. I purused the bakery case and noticed many options. I grabbed two cookies: Apricot Oatmeal and Peanut butter chocolate chip. They were somewhat pricey at around 2.50 each but were pretty tasty – not the best I’ve had by far. The apricot oatmeal was filling and smelled like perfume to me since it had so many apricots inside. Overall, a cool coffee shop that’s worth a visit. This one would be especially good if you need room to study or have a large group of people to hang out and sip coffee while talking.

I like this coffee shop a lot! I’ve always driven past it and finally came here the other night to catch up with a friend on a Saturday night. There were a good number of people hanging out and studying. The place is very spacious, which I always appreciate about a coffee shop. Also, it’s open late(until midnight)! The coffee and tea selection is pretty good. I got a roobios tea. If you like tea, they also have loose leaf tea in addition to tea bags. All in all, this is an awesome coffee shop in Fremont. =]

Parking: Easy, it’s an open lot for the plaza of Dollar Tree and Save Mart(or Food Maxx I forget ha). Prices: Cheaper than most coffee shops, especially Starbucks and their quality of coffee is a lot better in my opinion. Customer Service: Pretty consistent. The employees have been quite friendly and quick each time I have gone. All in all, I go out of my way to get coffee here even though there is a Starbucks across the way from my office. The coffee actually tastes like coffee, rather than sugar ha and the lower prices are nice too: D

The Suju’s on Thorton has always been one of the popular places people(including me) go to get their studying done due to its long hours. Since they opened up this location closer to where I live, I haven’t hesitated in coming here whenever I needed to get my studying done. This location is much, much bigger than the Thorton location with similar, if not identical, hours. While spacious with plenty of tables/chairs, the place is arranged to prevent overcrowding, with lots of space around the ordering/pick-up area. The drinks here are delicious and not overwhelming sweet by default.(Unlike Starbucks drinks which are loaded with sugar) The coffee they brew here is also very good, with obvious difference in quality and taste from its competitors. However, I have noticed that since this is a well-known popular study spot, it can be hard to grab a seat if you’re not there early or during off-peak hours.

HUGE. Cavernous, even. And packed all the time with high school and college students poring over biochemistry textbooks. But here’s why I really like this place: Me: Do your small lattes have one shot or two? Them: Ma’am, they have three. Me: Geesh, you don’t mess around. Them: No, we don’t. Love it.

Oh Suju’s. Why can’t I quit you. I haunt all the coffee shops in Fremont but Suju’s is apparently my favorite, just by the number of times I choose to come here. Maybe it’s because it’s perfectly average. Average coffee, mildly pleasant but not super enthusiastic service, no noticeable garbage or smells, a shelf full of random mugs of unknown origin, nice mixed crowd of Fremontians and their laptops, many outlets, temperature conditions are good for humans, etc. The space is quite grand… I don’t know why. Huge cylindrical ceiling, windows wrapping the whole thing, lots of nice views of the very adequate neighborhood that it sits in. So. If you don’t want to go to the homey barn that is Mission Coffee and find Peet’s way too small despite its fantastic coffee and Niles is just too far, this is the humongous shrine to average coffee that you’ve been looking for. (For those who want extra trivia goodies: Mystery of Suju’s: There’s this group of(older?) guys and a dog who hang out at the tables outside almost every time I’m there and they seem like a cool neighborhood organization but I have no idea what they’re organizing. Or if they’re just cool friends who like to hang out here. Somebody solve this.)

My sister Stephanie S. used to study at Suju’s Coffee and Tea all the time, so I had to come check out what was so great about it. This coffeeshop is definitely spacious with lots of tables, but it does get crowded. They have outlets along the wall, but you’d have to grab one of the outer tables. They offer a huge variety of coffee and tea, and they’re all reasonably priced. There is no minimum for credit card charges, woohoo! If you get hungry, you can buy bagels, bakery items, and sandwiches. Their internet here isn’t snail-slow, but it is on the slower side(probably because of all the people). I do like that they’re one of the only coffee shops in Fremont that is opened until midnight!

This is a nice café. It’s clean and pretty large with lots of seating. The workers are very young, maybe in high school, and seem to be learning, which is okay really. The line was pretty long and they seemed to be a little overwhelmed, but that’s okay. I’m patient. They have a large menu and even a drive thru. They have some interesting items like pistachio frappes or ginger juice. Nice place to do some reading, get some work done, or hang out with some tea, coffee and pastries. Oh, there’s free wi-fi!

3⁄5 stars. When this location opened up, I was thrilled. This used to be a bank with a drive-thru. What I love about this place is that it is spacious. Plenty of tables and seating. Drinks are pretty good but it depends on what you get. I usually just stick to the strawberry and cream frappé. My friends enjoy the polar cap, but I have yet to try it. Recently, I have returned here to study because school is back in session. Arrived here yesterday around 8pm and it was completely packed, but luckily I was able to snatch a small table. Claimed another one shortly and combined the two tables. It can get pretty loud and rowdy in here, because some people do not come here to study, but rather hangout, chat it up with friends or just use the wifi which can get incredibly slow… I came here again around 1pm and there were a lot of available tables open; however, wifi will still slow and I was unable to open my browser to access my schoolwork or listen to music… Service here is hit or miss. The baristas and cashiers are not the friendliest but as long as they get my drink right, I cannot complain too much. Not sure how often I will come here. Gets crowded, and when it is not, wifi is still slow.

This place is awful. I got a shaken iced tea w/some strawberry flavor and sweetener. My drink was super bland and flavorless, and a friend who tried it actually spit it out in disgust and asked«what IS that???» Bad drink, along with the bad/rude/curt service. Your money and time are better spent elsewhere.

Dream come true coffee house. It’s all too rare that I run into a family operated coffee house in the Bay Area that beckons me right away. I drove by it, I said at that impromptu moment I must go in. From the outside, it obviously was once a bank. Since 1992 it states it’s been here, and it’s polished and glassy inside while staying cool and chill. The drinks… Near perfection. CARAMELMACCHIATO, the foamy and spotted milk coffee with strains of caramel you can taste, might have hooked me for good. On a hot day, the COCONUTCREMEFRAPPE is my number one choice, and it really does amaze me that you can taste the coconut in every sip, and in no sip halfway through did the rich sweet-flaky taste go away. I’ve rarely been more pleased. And the desserts are vast as they are fresh and baked with meticulous care: I’ve had Pecan Bar, Vanilla Bean Cupcake, Lemon-Vanilla Cupcake, and a 7-Layer Bar that collectively gets my rocks rumbling. It’s not the greatest I’ve ever had. That would be select houses in Koreatown of Los Angeles. But we’re a far way from Koreatown, aren’t we? The sips and bites of «Suju’s,» obviously my favorite within a 30-mile radius, is a kick in the pants reminder of why corporate chains are actually diddly-squat in my book. #emotional

I always pass by this place on the way to BART, but I decided to try it this time because it’s named Suju.(Brownie point if you know it’s a kpop reference!) The place is very spacious and full of people studying. The service was quick and efficient. The prices of the drinks were very reasonable. $ 2.50 for my white mocha coffee! Nowadays, I have to pay $ 4-$ 5 for a cup! There were a lot of interesting frappuccinos too, which I will come back for on a more sunny day.(Red velvet frap sounds good!) I’m a fan of this place and I wish I discovered it sooner!
