Great fish sandwich; pretty good Salisbury steak with real mashed potatoes. Too bad we were there mid-afternoon during vacuuming time. The longer I can’t have a conversation, the smaller your tip gets.

I would it a five star but based on other reviews and seeing for my self I would like the floor to be a little more clean I understand food falls on floor and small little things but not big objects Food was very good I had the big chef Service was great lady was polite and the theme is good. Music was mellow rock I guess the only problem is that there is too many chefs and no Indians * * * * * Five star

The red arrow doesn’t get very good reviews, I could only give it two stars. The good: the food was fairly decent, i had the fish, my wife had the chicken strips and my son had shrimp. The fish and chicken were slightly above average. You could tell that the chicken was made fresh there, not frozen and then fried. The fish had good flavor and was prepared well, the shrimp was your standard frozen fare, refried but good if your craving shrimp. Service had slow periods but overall friendly and timely. The bad: The place was dirty and tacky. The floor was carpet and was littered with stuff here and there, it needed a good vacuuming. The atmosphere was dark, not a lot of natural light. There was Indian decorations all over but it was not very tastefully done, it looked like an Indian suvineer store just threw up in the place. They had heavy rock music playing in the back ground, I think it was for the cooks but should never have been aloud to get so high that the diners could hear it. Overall if you lived there and just wanted good fish or chicken and don’t mind the horrendous atmosphere, decorations and head banging music, then this is a decent place to eat.

We were driving back to Chicago from Ohio and wanted breakfast. We exited the tollway and were disappointed that there weren’t many food options in the area. We chose this place because it had good Unilocal reviews. It was obviously busy, so I came inside first to see how long of a wait it would be. I saw a «Please Seat Yourself» sign. I glanced around and spied a couple of empty tables that needed to be cleaned. I kept my eye on them and waited patiently. A family came in and walked right past me, hugged a waitress, and sat down at a dirty table. It was then cleaned for them. I guessed that I was going to have to do the same. So, I texted my girlfriend to join me and we sat down at a table. Our server was on us in less than a minute and took our drink orders. She then asked if we were ready to order food. We said that we had just sat down. We browsed the menu and a minute later, another server asked for our order. We ordered quickly and she was off. Then we waited and waited. When the food finally arrived, I checked the time stamp on the text I sent my girlfriend and it was a full 43 minutes later. And really, how long does it take to slam some biscuits onto a plate and ladel some gravy over them? The food was average. The biscuits were actually more like slices of cake, which was odd, but tasty. When we finished, it wasn’t ten seconds after my girlfriend put down her fork that a man swooped in and collected our plates. All in all, the people working were delightful. The food was adequate, the restaurant was crowded and very noisy, and we waited a long time to get our food.

Just took the family to the Red Arrow. What a great experience. Food was excellent. Service was down home fantastic. One minor issue. Wife found a hair in my 5 year olds food. We just asked for a new plate of food for him… They went above and beyond. They comped my wife and It’s dinners… the two most expensive and were very apologetic… Again, we did not complain, other than to ask for another plate… stuff happens… but the folks at this place know how to take care of a customer. Wish more restaurants shared this customer service mentality. Will definitely be going back.

Great breakfast! Omlets are big and always made perfectly. The biscuits and gravy with hash browns are a must try. I have ordered breakfast here every Sunday for years. People are very friendly and service is great. I can’t wait until Sunday!

Stayed at the nearby campground and wanted something close and easy to eat. The eight of us had everything from salad, cheeseburgers, fish, and turkey club to the chicken parmesan for dinner. The food is ok, the service was ok, but the place needs a serious cleaning. The carpet looks very dirty — I didn’t want to use my napkin after it fell on the floor. The problem with this is it made me think that if the front of the house looks so dirty what does the kitchen look like? Inexpensive decent/ok food but not a date night place for sure! Clean the floor!

Love the place — frequented it seems by locals. The food was really good and fast and tasted home-cooked. Unilocal has always been reliable. Red Arrow staff were warm and welcoming. Excellent omelette and pancakes. Glad we had our breakfast stop here.

Great breakfast! The guy with the hat & shades was still there, but he had upgraded his hat to a Jack Daniels LOL Our waitress was a pretty blonde girl and very sweet :)

Their specialty is fried fish and it was light and flavorful. And very inexpensive! Lots of Native American art on the walls of a simple diner. Good road food.

You gotta be kidding me! Rock bottom prices, great service, homemade food you DON’T have to worry about being«clean.» If you don’t eat here, you might as well put an «L on your forehead for your next big MASSIVEFAIL. BBQ ribs special, handbreaded fish fry, coleslaw, cucumber salad, and fries. Pie & coffee after. NOCOMPLAINTS. Like paying for McDonald’s or Denny’s but getting eating with Guy Fiere on DD&D/FoodNet. Nice spot for breakfast. Loved the Red Arrow American skillet. Wow-a heart attack on a plate but worth the indulgence. The American fries and biscuits and gravy were both quite good. The staff was particularly friendly. Our party of nine was greeted by a gentleman in a Coors Light t-shirt and baseball cap with sunglasses on top(the host/busser). However, he was extremely helpful and fast, even with the interesting work attire. Our server was efficient(helped by the fact that she knows my brother from his regular visits). The prices are affordable! Worth a visit if you are in the area.
