Project Walk deserves 10 Stars! Lisette and Ryan are AMAZING! My 16 year old son suffered a C5 spinal cord injury in Jan and is a quadripalegic. He is so motivated and determined to make a full recovery w minor deficits. We came across Project Walk while we were watching YouTube videos of spinal cord injury stories. There were several videos that had us in tears and so captivated by their stories and progress. The videos came from Project Walk, so I Google them. I read everything tge website has yo offer and decided to fill out the application and see what they have to offer. Lisette called me and we had a discussion about my son and how tge program could benefit him. We then set an appt for him to be evaluated and have a session to see if it’s something suitable for him. Let me say once they saw he had movement they right away wanted to text his capabilities. They had him standing within the first 20 minutes of meeting him and walking with assistance 25 minutes after that. That motivated my son even more than he already is abd face him hope that he is not sentenced to his wheelchair for life. He now goes 1 day a week(unfortunately that’s all I can afford right now) and he is making progress. They work on balance, conditioning, walking, standing, and everything else to help w his balance, endurance, strength, etc. The best part is they are so supportive and encouraging. Lisette and Ryan are so passionate in what they do. I feel that they want to see him make progress and walk one day on his own as much as we do. They see that the potential is there and they want to get him to that full potential. My son is working hard… I’M SOPROUDOFHIMANDSOTHANKFULFORPROJECTWALK! THANKYOULISETTEANDRYAN!
