Crappy! This place sucks, something always goes wrong. The machine has taken a 5 $ bill from me, the soap didn’t come out one time, and today the water barely came out during the rinse cycle. On top of all that the man who runs the place is super rude. The machine wasn’t taking the money and we asked him to possibly change out the bills and he had the nerve to ask if it was counterfeit? Ummmm what?! Don’t come here!

This place is just okay. Nothing fancy or anything. Here’s some information about this place… This places takes quarters and has a change machine. No credit card processor thing though. None of that tokens crap. $ 2.50 will get you about 5 minutes of washing time. The middle bay I used had a pressure washer that worked, but when I turned the knob to rinse/car soap, there was no car soap. I don’t use the brushes at all. I just wanted to hose down all the dirt and crap off my car. Looks like there’s 3 or 4 vacuum stations. I assume those are coin operated also. I would rate this 2 – 3 stars. Definitely not more. There’s not a whole lot to it. Probably would be a low two stars. I’ve been to some pretty nice self serve stations and this place isn’t one of them, but I think this is the only reasonable one in the area. There is another that shares the lot with Hertz at Thornton and Fremont Blvd. which is utterly more useless than this one.

I had to add this business just so I could warn others NOT to come here! This is a self-serve car wash station on Niles Blvd across the street from the old, historic downtown shops. This is also the same location where the Tacos Negris food truck supposedly comes — we’ve driven here on multiple occasions to try their food but we’ve missed them every, single, time. Needless to say, we’re done trying. I believe they have 3 car slots — 2 in the shade, and 1 that’s not. They also have a vacuuming station nearby so you can clean your car’s interior. The price for a wash is $ 2.50 for 4 minutes, which is a rip-off because you really need 5 minutes. Also, they may have a discrete timer that counts down how many minutes you have left, but we couldn’t find one. They have really limited washing options — they have a soapy brush, high-powered water spray, and some sort of ‘wax’ spray. The wax is a dud as we tried it & nothing but water comes out so you basically only have 2 options. They don’t even have a spotless water spray! If you wash your car here, you’ll be left with LOTS of water spots and guess what, scratches. SCRATCHES! My poor car :(The scratches came from either the soapy brush OR the hoses hanging from the ceiling attached to the sprays. I am beyond pissed.
