Prices are bit cheaper and vegetables are fresh. If u want to get all the groceries at one place then u must opt this store.

For the best indian grocery store in Bay area you have to drive to NAMASTEINDIA, and they have fresh vegetables on every day.

I love this store. They carry all the brands I like and they have very friendly staff compared to other Indian groceries in the bay area.

Dismal sums it up. Many points have been covered, so I don’t need to say all of those again. Note to owners: the deplorable cart situation. It’s simply unacceptable to not be able to take the cart out and also not have a dedicated worker to take a customer’s groceries to the car. This is not an excuse: «people keep stealing our carts» — that’s a cost of doing business and you have to find a solution. How are we supposed to carry heavy items out like rice or flour? It was really embarrassing to have to ask the lady cashier, who did bring my flour bag to my car. The owners are just probably working as software engineers during the day and using the grocery store to avoid paying taxes(legally of course which is fine). But, I wonder what would happen if someone got injured trying to carry all the heavy groceries by themselves? Wow!!! This is still America(with laws) even if many of your customers may be immigrants. First, learn what is good customer service and what the laws are in this country. It’s not all just here for your benefit, y’know.

I vote this the dirtiest Indian or any other store in the bay area! Unbelievably filthy! When did they wipe down the shelves? a couple of decades ago. The groceries are not good either – especially the fresh veggies. Avoid at all costs.

Ran multiple times and see that they sell rotten vegetables and keep on shelves for longer time. You don’t see them cleaning or moving the rotten vegges out. Once I brought okra($ 7) and my cook tried to prepare food the next day and surprise they were rotten. Luckily I had the receipt and went back for the store asked what’s going on they were rude and didn’t even do anything. And this was not the first time I ran into such a case. This was probably my 5th such occurrence(in my 25+ visits to this store in 2yrs. I usually shop at ICC which carries way lot fresh vegetables) with rotten or stale vegges so, complaining now so that others are saved.

Visiting this store is really waste of time. Items are old. Over priced…
