She is exceptionally knowledgable and has great wisdom when it comes to hair, health, and beauty. She knows all hair types from corse to fine and based off of your heritage. She looks out for her customers and is honest with them. She aims to have a customer base with a good knowledge in how to care for themselves at home as well as walking out transformed and beautiful. She has restored hair disasters from other salons and teaches me constantly about great remedies and ways to maintain and keep my hair healthy.

Melissa is simply the best! I have been getting my hair cut and colored by her for over 10 years. My mom also goes to Melissa for hair and other pampering needs. I refer everyone I know to Melissa because I know they will love her will be very satisfied.

I wrote a review in April that has somehow now disappeared off Unilocal.What’s going on Unilocal?But, I now have the opportunity to update my review for Melissa’s Metamorphosis to include the tasteful and soothing new remodel of Melissa’s salon.
Look no further. Simply stated, Melissa is the best. No question. When I found Melissa, I was looking for a good hairdresser, but Melissa is so much more. She’s a professional. Melissa knows her craft better than anyone else I’ve ever met in the field. She is very knowledgeable and stays up on the latest styles and products. She operates a full service salon — hair, nails, feet, facials, and more. Her recently remodeled salon has been done in soothing beach-​spa tones and is fully equipped.
I’ve been going to Melissa for about 13 years. My 18 year old daughter and 15 year old son choose to go to her too. She does fabulous cuts, highlights, and styles for both men and women of all ages. When I come out of Melissa’s, I look better than I thought I could.
Icing on the cake, Melissa is reasonably priced, accommodates scheduling change needs whenever possible, and looks out for her customers like they are extended family.
Melissa has a long list of loyal customers who wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Need I say more?

I’ve been going to Melissa for about 5 years now after She was recommended to me by a gf of mine when I complimented her on her highlights. Since then I’ve been going regularly for my haircuts and highlights.
My first time visiting was a unique experience. My gf had informed me that Melissa worked out of her house, but this was new to me and I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the «salon room». It is a very professionally setup and she even has a good variety of products for sale on her shelves — just like any other salon.
One very simple thing that I like about Melissa is that she understands what an inch is! I hate it when I ask for a 2 inch trim and the first snip leaves me with a 4 inch chunk of hair missing. Melissa really listens to what you want and also has an eye for what flatters your look. I trust her with my «warm toffee» highlights. Too many a times do I see asians with orange or streaky blonde highlights gone wrong. She is also very flexible despite her packed appointment book and will try and fit you in even when it’s a minute’s notice. Melissa keeps you looking like yourself, just better.

Melissa is an extraordinary and one of a kind person. She will be 100% honest with you and she will let you know exactly what fits you looks and what will not look good on you. She is an excellent and very professional woman. Her home is clean and her salon area very well organized she will work with you and bend over backwards for you. She does:
hair, nails, facials, massages all body, you name it she will do it. her prices are very affordable.

The service, atmosphere, and quality of the following has been outstanding. Melissa works solo but does not lack in service quality. She will schedule in an «emergency» service close to holidays and will still do her best work. Her residence is always tidy as well as her salon area, and her advice and expertise is always wonderful.
