Closed. Drove by today and they are clearly no longer in business. Shame, I was excited to try it.

I had the chicharones rancheros from this place about 4 wks ago bec they are fresh & good. I wanted to buy some more the other day. The place is closed down to my dismay, as in permanently closed. Do they have another store?

This place is awesome. Great carne asada and pollo asada. I drive all the way from Dublin to get to this place. Really friendly folks. They will ask if you want marinade in the carne asada. Make sure you say yes. They also throw in oranges and green onions. It’s delicious.

I was going to take a picture of my beautiful coconut jam pastry thing but I ate it. It was delicious. Now I regret not having a picture for this place!

This is a pretty small market that sells various items, including pinatas! We stopped by to purchase the necessities for making tacos on Cinco de Mayo. Upon entering, the cash register is to your left. To the right, there are various mexican breads that look pretty yummy. In the back is where the meat section is. A small variety of raw meats are available and they will marinate them for you at no extra cost. The prices are pretty comparable to what you would pay at other markets. On weekends, they have cooked meats for sale, such as carnitas, barbacoa, and tamales. I’ve had the carnitas and barbacoa and they are delicious! They also have a red and green salsa for sale, in small, medium, and large containers. The red is pretty good, not too spicy. The green is also good but OMG hot, very HOT! Some produce is also available, but they didn’t look very fresh. We bought some lime here but they were super hard and not juicy. Boo. I’ll come here again to buy some stuff when I want tacos and too lazy to drive the Chavez market off Thornton. It’s also nice to support a small local market!
