This place is a scam. They basically want you to take the 6 week course for $ 1000 up front and then lie on your resume. Trying to add experience and impress employers with a faulty resume is deceiving, but what is worst is when you prove you do not have the basic knowledge to actually do the job.
They just got hit with a lawsuit, so beware.

I wish I could give them zero stars!!! NBC Bay Area news’ investigation segment just reaffirmed what I’ve always thought of this place. It’s a SCAM! What’s sad is they are taking advantage of people in desperate need of employment. They post fake jobs. They make you lie on your resume. They have been taken to court multiple times. I hope this investigation puts and end to this all. But what’s worst is there’s lots of other scammer staffing/​consulting services out there. Need to cause more awareness on these types of people.

After reading reviews I can’t believe they take advantage of unemployed people, I actually have a background in Software QA testing and they tried to get $ 750 for this «class» to train me. So they sent me an email with the information but it is littered with grammatical errors you can easily spot it was not thought out, and also there is no history of them doing well and everyone has the same issue.
Besides when you talk to them they aren’t clear on how you get the job just that you pay the for certification it just sounds like a bunch of talk more than action. If they were serious they would have multiple branches in Socal as well to reach more people. Also like people were saying why pay so much for a staffing agency that will get compensation for your hire?

One word: Scam.
I got a call from a recruiter. He said there are two positions available. I choose one. Next he asked questions about me which has nothing to do with the position. I interrupted him asking more information about the position. He answered indirectly. Then he continued asking questions about me. A red flag raised behind my head.
I heard many people talking as background noise during the phone conversation. It sounds like a call center. .. a phishing center where these recruiters are getting personal information from people.
Job seekers, avoid the company at all costs. Don’t apply to their job openings. Don’t return their calls. Delete their emails.

It’s a huge scam. They contacted me today. It sounded fishy and after my family members assured me it was phony because they’re wanting to get paid instead of paying me and then reading these reviews. So glad I did my research before pursuing it any further. I spoke to a guy named Nupur Jagdev. So sad they would take advantage of jobless people. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I was contacted by Beta Soft Systems in July 2014. This woman talked about a training program in Fremont that could get me a job in a Fortune 500 company. All I had to do was attend the classes and they would put me through programming classes and help me boost my resume. I thought this sounded like a great opportunity… but it also sounded too good to be true.
I asked the woman to send me an email with more information, we also planned another phone meeting to talk about the training program 4 days later. She did send me the email with details about the training program. I thought this place was a staffing agency at first but I did some research on the company and found that it was a company that does IT products, services, and consulting. I don’t even have a strong background in programming! I barely learned MATLAB in college so I was confused why they contacted me in the first place.
There was NO mention of this training program on their website. Not even a little sentence. I found this very strange. Shouldn’t a great training program like this be advertised on their website??? I tried to find more information about this training program on the internet but the only place that talked about it was Unilocal and as you can see there are all kinds of bad things about this «training» program.
The woman missed the phone call that we planned 4 days after the first call. Later she sent an email saying she was stuck in a meeting. I decided this was too sketchy to continue with so I told her I wasn’t interested anymore. I don’t live close to Fremont anyways and the risk of wasting my time and money was too high.
I don’t know if this is actually a part of the company or just some scam. Either way, I hope Beta Soft Systems can put an end to this «training» program thing.

They post jobs everyday to attract new grads, but after talking to them it sounds to me that this is 100% scam. Don’t call them, and ignore every job post from them.

I was contacted by Rashmi Bhardwaj in 2012. I went to their office and met with someone else. Rashmi, it turns out, lives in India. They explained that I qualify for Business Analyst positions and there is a ~10 week training for that. It’s free, with a $ 1000 dollar security.
I gave them a $ 1000 check, attended the training, did the assignments during the training.
Our trainer was this guy who said he worked for Cisco. The training was all new information to me, so it was somewhat useful.
After the training, I found out that I had to send out fake resumes, with lots of fake jobs with fake references. I couldn’t go through with that. If I knew I had to do that I wouldn’t have wasted my time.
I did learn a thing or two about a few business software programs like balsamiq, scrum etc.
I have no idea what other people in my batch did after they finished the training.
There is also a lot of work you have to do on your own: learn about SQL on your own, make your own projects, assignments and other homework to make a work portfolio. I did not do that, and I did not submit and fake resumes.
Since then I have been contacted by other people from betasoft (Amrita and Reena) and I told them I don’t live in the bay area, and I cannot lie on my resume for job applications.
They did not cash my check, but they didn’t return my check either. I guess if they cash it, I can just stop the payment.
Don’t bother with these people, but if you want free rudimentary training in QA and BA, go for it.

Beta Soft Systems scours the internet for resumes, calls you with a «job offer» that doesn’t exist, then asks for money to «train you» and «place you» in a job that might never come. No thanks. Read on for more information.
I received an email from Vikram at Beta Soft Systems on a Friday for a «job opportunity» in quality assurance (software tester) using Java, Eclipse, Selenium. A few hours later I’m talking to Vikram to find out more information about this «job opportunity».
It turns out that it is not a job opportunity. This is a 5 week free (remember this word, free) online training program in Java, Eclipse, and Selenium. After you complete the training program, Beta Soft Systems places graduates in $ 32-​plus an hour jobs with 90% placement rates for employees, Vikram tells me. He starts naming the companies around the Bay Area that he has placed candidates in: Adobe, EBay, PayPal, Yahoo, HP etc. You cannot get placed in any jobs unless you complete this free training, Vikram says. The training is for benchmarking and to ensure that you can do the job, Vikram assures me. I’ve used Java, Eclipse, and Selenium. Free training can’t hurt.
I tell Vikram to call me Monday. Monday, Vikram calls as promised. Then, he drops the news. The training program is not free. Vikram just wants a $ 750 safety deposit to make sure I go through with the program. The previous Friday we had talked at length about the cost of the program. Free. Free. Free. Now it’s $ 750. $ 750. $ 750. No thank you. I put my resume online for job opportunities, not training program scams.
I do have to give Vikram credit for being well prepared, professional, and great with follow-​up. He was also great at giving you many little details (contract terms, pay range, company placement rates) that make this «job opportunity» sound much more than the scam it is.

Job scam! Do not read the recent reviews! Realize that those recent 5 stars are just basically their workers writing about them. You can tell that those new 5 – 6 accounts just wrote 1 review and they decided to write it for this place? Suspicious! Anyways I am super disappointed at UCD for not researching these companies before posting the job on the website.
Anyways my point is STAY AWAY from these scammers! They just want your 1000 $ for «safety deposit» and 6 weeks of nonpaid training! They’ll give you bull crap info such as you’ll get 25 $ and 27 $ if you are willing to relocate.

A recruiter from this firm calls me and asks if I am looking for new positions. She set an appointment with supposedly one of their technical recruiters.
I went to their office in Fremont. I met with the recruiter and gave her my resume. She comes back after 10 minutes, telling me that they don’t have any openings matching my skill!
Apparently, they are just good at setting appointments. They check the resumes only after the job seeker shows up at their door. I have to say I was quite disappointed for the time I put into going there.
