This is one of the very frequent occasions that I met with one of Trevor’s clients who still go to him after 20 years! Everybody in the salon is friendly and Trevor really cares about making you look your best.

Ok. If I feel this great and amazing and still getting compliments days after a trip to the salon, Trevor did something right! I didn’t know what I wanted or needed. I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for the past year and most stylists will not listen to what I ask of them. Either chopping off too much or layering it, making my hair even thinner. Trevor not only respected what I was requesting but he even had suggestions. We also colored my hair and updated my ombré a bit. He did a subtle color on my ends that made it looked sun kissed and ready for summer! Can’t wait to grow out my hair again(with Trevor’s help!)

I followed Trevor here from his previous gig. He always does a great job and the prices are reasonable. I always know I’m going to look as good as I can when I leave. Trevor has done my hair for years and I see no reason to switch. Why would I gamble with my hair?! Thanks Trevor!

My friend suggested Backstage Hair Salon and told me lots of good things about a stylist named Kim. Based on the feedback I was getting, Kim sounded like a very versatile hair stylist. Color, cut, updos, extensions, you name it and Kim can definitely make it work for you. I came into the salon feeling very experimental with my hair. I wanted something loud, edgy, and a tad eccentric. What I really liked about Kim is that she cuts and styles hair according to a person’s features; she really makes sure her work looks good on you. I told her what I wanted which was a simple a-line cut with a few fun colors in it. She definitely exceeded my expectations!!! Not only did she put color in my hair, she did this really cool gradient with lots of pretty colors. I loved it so much!!!(You can see her work in main review page :)). Kim is by appointment only, so you’ll have work with her on the time you want to get your hair done. She does not disappoint and I would definitely recommend her to all my friends.

Backstage Hair Salon was called Contemporary Hair Salon 2 years ago and 2 years before that it was called something else — that is why Backstage is not as well-known as it should be. I’ve been to this salon for about 8 years now, and from the remodeling of the salon — it looks more elegant and beautiful than ever. The only thing that disappoints me is that the exterior of the salon does not fit the interior. The plaza where it is located in looks reallly old and It’s a bit hard to locate because all it says on the outside of the salon is — Beauty Salon. But I think that is because the plaza owners wants to keep the consistency of others services. Inside, they have wide golden framed mirrors for each station that looks really glam — I’ve never seen that anywhere else before. They also serve you coffee. =] And have mini twix and snickers laying around to satisfy the customer’s munchies. Oh and they just got a huge flat screen in there! My hair stylist is Kim Pham. I’ve been with her for a long time and she never disappoint me. Oh and she gives get scalp massages before the hair cut & color that makes you want to just fall asleep. She can do all sorts of magic to your hair — updos, perm, permanent straightening, extensions, highlights, funky colors streaks. And she’s a sweetheart. As for pricing, you get what you pay for. It’s not overly expensive nor is it cheap. I pay about $ 35 for a chic haircut. She also can wax your eyebrows and shape them beautifully. My teezers can never pull the same trick as her waxing techniques. They have wax/facial room in the back so if you want a face mask you can get one in private without have to show your muddy face to other customers. So if you ever decides to go to Backstage, ask for Kim Pham.
