BEWARE: THEY TRY TO GET YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY AT END OF CALL!!! A recruiter called me about job I was interested in with a big known corporation. Came to the end of the speech and verbal application with the very thick-​accent Indian guy named «Nikhilesh» whom I could barely understand, only to have him ask for last 5 of my social! NO THANKS, BYE!!! Totally illegal SCAM! No good recruiter asks for that. Now if the company website of the client asked for it on their application, that’s fine, but not some bozo from «new jersey» 3000 miles away who I’ve never heard of. BEWARE!!!

I got a few successive emails from a recruiter here in one day. I responded to ask that they take me off their email list, and mentioned that typically corporate emails need to have an «Unsubscribe» option.
That night — someone on the east coast signed me up for about 10 spam emails. Company newsletters, article of the day, etc. I obviously can’t know for sure it was them, but seems possible.
Tried to call the company directly to discuss 4x and never got through to a human. Always voicemail or busy signal.

who are these morons? First learn how to speak English. can’t understand a word they are saying. why are you calling me 10 times a day for a contract job?

So, I’ve had a few people contact me about my review. Yes, my experience is real. Apparently people are really concerned about the ‘Indian accent’. This is a little disturbing to me but whatever. They did get me a great job and I still occasionally receive calls from them when I post my resume online.
I’ve been working as a contractor for a while. I’d rather deal with these guys then other companies that make you come in, test then NEVER call you for a job.
Artech’s process is painless and if an accent discourages you… it’s your loss :)

One question! How is a recruiter that can barely speak U. S English clearly going to get you a job from a U.S.A employer?

These people are ridiculous! I’m constantly getting spammed for jobs I’m grossly over qualified for or are not related to my resume in the slightest. I’ve told them repeatedly to take my name out of their database with no luck. At one time they were calling me for a 6 month contract for a job I MIGHT have been interested in 15 years ago and dropped that it was a local big name company. When I said «No» the recruiters response was «What?!? Don’t you want to work for X Company?» UGH!!!
I highly suspect either of the positive reviews for this company are completely false. I even suspect they are not recruiters at all but likely covers for stealing identities or selling spam lists.

As someone who was once a recruiter, this place needs to get better talent in order to FIND talent!!!
Once they get your information they send you countless emails, for positions that may/​may not exist. When you respond via email — no response!
If you respond/​try and reach out to someone via phone — no response!
How is it that you have no time to either pick up the phone or extend a courtesy return call!?!
The recruiters all seem to be running searches for random keywords, without actually LOOKING at the profiles of the people they’re shuttling these «positions» off to…
While I am currently employed, I am in the market for a new position in my new location. These guys are doing nothing but wasting my time and energy that could be spent talking to /​reading emails from REAL recruiters!

My inbox has 27 emails from these clowns.
On 6÷6÷2011 they sent email number one. It was the shitty type of role one would expect from spam… something about a nigerian prince who needed some OO PHP5 code rocked out.
By 6÷9÷2011 I was sick of their spam. I replied to one Amarpreet with «
DONT F*CKING EMAIL ME
I HAVE A JOB, R*T*RD.
Apparently when I asked you very nicely to remove me from your list, there was some trouble with communication. Do I need to contact your manager in order for my request to be honored?

Needless to say, I am still on their list. Now I get even more irrelevant roles on a more frequent basis. Although I do take great pleasure in reporting them to can-​spam as well as their ISP (

Its ironic that a business which does techincal recruiting can screw up the concept of opt-​in email so badly.

I have been contacted innumerable time by these c1owns about positions. I have always responded immediately as I know time is critical when searching for employment.
Invariably, every response from these m0r0ns has been along the lines of, «Unfortunately, the client has placed this position on hold while they review the candidates they have received,» or this completely out of touch response, «As of now, we are giving priority to candidates who have significant experience in the _​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​industry.»
What’s odd you might ask? i responded within minutes to their inquiry but after receiving my resume, they already have enough and I’m no longer being considered for the position?
How about I already have «significant experience» in the _​_​_​_​_​_​_​industry that they were looking for — did you c1owns even READ my resume?

Recruiters don t really listen to the person they are interviewing, and since they don t always understand the position they are recruiting for either, the process is painful and goes nowhere. I have spoken with two recruiters, one of them extremely rude.

Not sure why they keep on calling me about jobs I don’t match at all. It’s like they just randomly go on linkedin and pull names.

Even one star is too much for this breeding ground of low-​life outsourced India headhunters, who don’t have enough sense to read, let alone close an umbrella.
They have been spamming me for years — and NOT ONCE someone demonstrated knowledge of my resume, or had the decensy to state upfront company, pay rate and terms.
Telling them repeatedly to remove my information from their database did not help — I still get e-​mails (immediately followed up by phone calls) from people who barely speak English.
They are bottom-​feeders, trying to push 2 or 3-​month contracts with Microsoft to those desperate enough to work for minimum pay.
Stay clear from them, set your e-​mail spam filter to block Artech, and you will still never get rid of these roaches.

There are recruiting agencies that employ smart, resourceful, ethical people. But anybody who’s dealt with technical recruiters will tell you that the industry is dominated by unprincipled morons. You have to wonder how they survive.
And if the typical badly-​run agency is a mystery, Artech is an absolute miracle. I first dealt with them 4 years ago, when they tried to recruit me for a contract tech writing gig. They were insisting that I drop everything and indicate my immediate availability (I think they always do that, whether the client wants them to or not); I wasn’t about to leave the contract I was on without a couple weeks notice. Bringing up a deal-​breaker like that is usually enough to make the most inept recruiters go away, but not these bozos. Nor did it bother them that the job was in another state, which is almost always a deal-​breaker for the client, not to mention the logistical difficulties for me. (Some clients will help you with that kind of thing, but I don’t think it was on the table here.) It took them a while to give up on recruiting me for a job I never had a chance at.
Even then, I heard from them at least once a week, always for jobs I had no hope of getting, And they’d waste my time with long questionnaires in really bad English, all asking stuff they could have easily found on my resume. I finally told them to stop calling me.
Which they did. But they continued to email me. It took a few phone calls to bring that to an end.
Hadn’t heard from them in a while. But just now I got an email for an «urgent requirement» for a medical biller. A medical biller. Not only have I never done that job, I’m not at all sure what it is! That’s beyond lame.
You have to wonder why any sane hiring manager would even talk to them. And yet they’ve not only survived, they’ve even opened a west coast office. So much for the rationality of the marketplace!

Has anybody ever actually gotten a job from these people?
Does anyone who actually speaks ENGLISH work for them???
