Ariana Sweets

Ariana sweets have been our favorite go-​to place for pastries and tea! Their Roat is hands down the best Roat my family and I have tried. So soft and delicious. And I can say the same about their Nuqul (Frosted almonds) and their Shirpera (Milk Fudge candy with almonds and pistachios). Shirpera with some hot tea… Wow!
They carry all kinds of pastries, Tea, and other products. Their customer service is superior and I have never had an issue in my many experiences with them. I recommend them to all my family and friends (even to the ones that live in other states because they ship as well !!!)

I tried the Frosted NUQUL Almonds from
and there is only one word to describe them: fabulous. Sugar coated almond delights with hints of cardamom and rose essence. Have never had anything like it so I went back online to their website (
) and ordered more for my home! The turn around time was great and the product arrived within 2 days to my apartment. Fresh and delightful. Definitely would recommend for anyone willing to try something wonderful and different.

Amazing customer service! I was pleasantly surprised with the attention they gave my order. I put in an order on thanksgiving eve and received my package on Monday. Everything was fresh and delicious. The guy who took my order also had awesome recommendations that i’m glad I tried. Will definitely order from them again.

Everything in this place is delicious! A hidden gem in Fremont, CA (just between San Francisco and San Jose, CA). Great Afghani and Persian style candies and sweets!
Things you have to try: Nuqul (Frosted Almonds, yummm!), Shirpera (soft all natural milk-​fudge candy with pistachios and almonds, very rich and irresistible!), Roat (soft cookie-​bread mix with a hidden splash of rich eastern spices), and the Corn Bread (sweet and exotically rich taste, not like any other corn bread).

A wonderful Afghani bakery/​grocery store.
I absolutely love their Roat-​Cookie bread, it is by far one of the best, I’ve had here in California. The cookie bread is a delicious mix of flour, milk, and eastern spices. It is then baked. The rich spices give it a unique taste. There is a sweet and savory flavor, nice hints of cardamom, sprinkled with nigella. I love eating this as an afternoon snack with a cup of hot sheer-​chai (Afghani milk tea) or just a regular cup of tea. It can also be enjoyed as a dessert.
Ariana has a lot of Afghni food items, nuts, spices, mixes, breads, snacks etc and the quality is pretty good.
I am hooked on the Roat-​Cookie Bread!
