In case you don’t have it yet, here is a link to a petition to get this woman re-hired and to GETSICKDAYS. This is outrageous! If I could I would not even rate this 1! Not only is this a violation of the public health, this is also not okay for the employee to go thru! I want to boycott Subway. Unless and until they are more sympathetic toward the workers. Workers are HUMAN. Treat them HUMANELY. link to petition: I will not be returning to Subway in my hometown. Unless and until they have more compassion for workers! I will miss the food, but the company does not sit well in my stomach(management) or in my heart!

NEVEREATHERE! This place forced an employee to keep working after she had been vomiting for hours at work, then FIRED her after she had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Shame on you Subway for putting your employees and customers health at risk, all for the sake of a dollar. Absolutely disgusting display of humanity.

Too bad there isn’t any negative stars for the scumbag managers of this location, they should count themselves lucky the sick girl they wrongly fired isn’t related to me. They deserve to be hunted down for what they did.

«A Freeport, Texas Subway employee so ill she had to be rushed to the hospital was forced to keep working by her manager — then the restaurant fired her when someone else called an ambulance.» –
Is this true? Does this manager still have a job? Seriously, «When she approached her manager about the fact that she was so ill she could barely function and was likely to make customers sick, the woman quite reasonably replied „I don’t care. Get back on the line.“ The manager also told her to „just switch shirts“ to hide the vomit stains» is how you do business and treat your employees and customers? What is the franchise owners position on this? Does this particular franchise owner own other restaurants that the public should stay away from for fear of becoming violently ill because, PROFITS?

So… this is the restaurant that fired a person who was so sick that she had to be rushed to the hospital due to the stomach flu. The manager told her to just change her shirt to hide the vomit and to get back into the sandwich making line. She finally collapsed outside and was rushed to the hospital at which point she was fired. Until this restaurant has new owners and management, I will never eat here or at any subway. Btw… I wonder how many people will get sick as result of this. Maybe the health department will close them down… they should anyway.

I usually come to this location once a week but today it was so dirty. All the tables were dirty, no soap in restroom and toilet dirty. Floor was swept but dirt pushed up against wall and left. And there were only a couple other customers there at the time. Usually it is pretty clean.

We try to eat at Subway while we’re on roadtrips since their food is cheap, healthy, and predictable. This location next to Brazosport High School was a good experience. The store was large, bright, and clean. Being a Subway, they put your entire order in the clear plastic bag regardless of whether you eat in or out. We went on New Year’s Eve(a Thursday) around 3 pm. There were two employees and about five other customers besides the three of us. There was a group of four people sitting in a table enjoying their meal. It is located on 288/Nolan Ryan Expressway/Brazosport Blvd on the East side of the street, the north neighbor of Brazosport High School.
