The service was awesome. The food was awfully disappointing. So many places on the mile, never going back to this one again!

Don’t go there on a Saturday night.
One kitchen handling 2 restaurants. 3 waiters for both restaurants. Didn’t honor our reservation. Food was good, but meal took 3 hours.

My boyfriend and I come here all the time and are always happy with our experience. Amazing management, they treat you like family. Annmarie is the best bartender ever. She always gets our drink and food order correctly and so quick! If you get a chance to stop by for happy hour during the week I highly recommend!

I don’t want to be mean… they tried. Really, they did.
Let’s start with walking in and «choosing» which restaurant you would like, either Prime 23 or EB Elliot’s. Keep in mind, IT IS THE SAME KITCHEN. Two different menu’s that happen to have some of the same dishes. Maybe consider having it called ONE name and upgrading the menu and experience as a whole.
Anyway, Victoria, the manager was an absolute doll. After the waiter came out and informed us that they were completely out of sauvignon blanc, she went to her «secret stash» and brought me a glass of delicious wine. We did cancel our expensive appetizer order of the seafood tower upon hearing of the wine shortage. It rubbed us the wrong way and were nervous of the quality of the seafood.
The wedge salad was exceptionally good. The chef makes maple glazed bacon that is thick cut and yum. The lump crabmeat cocktail also very good. Our entrees both came out RAW. Ribeye, which was cold even at the edges and double cut pork chop, actually pinkish red in the middle. This does not a steakhouse make. The seasonings were on point. However, after sending it back and having it come back with more fire… neither piece of meat were the right texture after being recooked. Asparagus was thick, cooked well but had inedible white pieces still on it?! Hash browns were good.
With so many choices, I don’t think we will be back. I can’t stress enough that it was a valiant effort by the manager and server. Seems like the problems are in the back of the house and with the strange restaurant set up. Up? Down? Which restaurant? Do you like steak or maybe you would prefer a hamburger instead? Are you dressed nicely or in shorts? Thats the feeling you get when you all walk through the same door. I also notice the comments from the restaurant are only on the positive reviews, again strange.

This was the worst dining experience! The service was horribly slow. The food was mediocre. They overcharged us for food that we didn’t order. We sat here for over 3 hours!!! Overall, a very frustrating experience! This place is now called Prime 23. Don’t waste your time and money here!!!

Me and my wife went to be elliots a few nights ago. Our food was awesome, especially the shrimp dish that our waiter Brandon recommended. Will definitely be back soon

The atmosphere and food were great. John (thanks for the onion soup reccomendation!) and Vicky were equally as awesome. Can’t wait to come back.

I can’t speak highly enough about this place!
I went here with my sister on a Thursday night and there was a decent crowd with live music– the band was awesome! Our waiter was named John and to be honest, we’d come back for him alone, even if the food wasn’t as amazing as it was. He gave is his recommendations and we naturally went with them; the onion soup was to die for, and the crab cakes and pot of muscles were equally amazing. I heavily recommend the raspberry martini for cocktail fans. Amazing intuition, John!
We had the groupon deal (which is totally worth it), but the app was giving us trouble, so John and his manager, Vicky were awesome in accommodating us and helping us out. Definitely plan to spend my summer at this place!

We had a so much fun with the music and upstairs At prime 21 Steak House the food was awesome and Denny was so sweet a definite must do

At E.B. Elliot’s right now for the first time and the food is amazing. Started with soup and then a bunch of apps and not one disappointment. John our server was awesome and made sure we were never without a drink or anything else we needed! Definitely going to make a bunch of trips back here! Yummmmmmm

The food was amazing, my husband and I found a new place and the service again was amazing too!

So I’ve been coming here for years and always had great service however yesterday the service was sub par. I already was aware that a party was going on upstairs so had no preference of seating. There was a table but oddly placed smack in the middle of the floor. Only after my suggestion to move it in a space between two other parties was is moved. It took the waitress over 7 minutes to come to us. The table next to us warned us that the service was terribly slow. I now know that there are new owners however thankfully the manager Denny is still there-who’s been there forever.. The food is still delicious which is why I gave 2 stars.
My drink was horrible. It was supposed to have cranberry but came to me orange colored. Sent it back for the cranberry but tasted just like lime juice. I settled for a vodka club.
I watched a woman who I think is another manager pretty much berated a new busboy while customers were dining. She also wiped a table with a rag, then put silverware on the table with no napkin. She also held the silverware in her hands after using the rag and handling a bottle, and a bottle chiller. Just seems more sanitary to pre wrap the silverware in the tablecloths to minimize contamination.
It just seems like the servers on the first floor were a bit overwhelmed despite it not being crowded-​especially since I know how packed this place can get.
The waitress warmed up after but again just seemed that she was overwhelmed. She wasn’t sure what came with the salmon dinner but did give me a good suggestion.
Also for it to be before 5pm I think they need to being back the lunch menu, not a dinner menu.

Again I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I know what the previous service staff was capable of. The food is good but these are just little pointers to be mindful of. Thankfully Denny is still there.

This place has gone DOWN HILL BIG TIME. In the past my wife and I have had plenty of great meals here, the service was absolutely horrible slow and inattentive waiters and hostess.
My buddy ordered. $ 34.00 steak that he asked to come out medium it was super well done!!!
I asked for fresh pepper for my seafood dish and the waiter just handed me the pepper mill wtf.
Slow for drinks and the place was virtually empty just one other couple in the dining room.
I predict this place will not last unless they seriously update their service and food quality.
BRING BACK PETE at least he knew how to run the place

We just had our friends 40^th bday celebration there. The staff there could not have been more wonderful. Starters, they have a secluded room, which was perfect for the 11 of us. we could get loud if we needed too (not that we did). The staff was so attentive and helpful. Our waiter was Brian, he was just lovely. Very patient and courteous. I cannot say enough great things about Brian.
The food, it was just delicious. We were all very happy and satisfied with our meals. It was really just ON POINT.
I really hope to return there for a meal.
I really do recommend it for anyone having a celebration or just a nice dinner out.

Omg came here one day in late April for drinks. Their taps weren’t working so I asked for a drink menu and so I ordered a sangria and they said they couldn’t do that. What? Bartender said only bottled beer which wasn’t a good selection. Can’t say anything about food. Music was nice but all these bars have music, so next time I’ll skip eb Elliot’s. How do you have a bar with no drinks.

Absolutely amazing!
This is now my favorite steak house on Long Island. It’s a NYC steak house close to home.
The food is delicious especially the filet mignon. The staff is attentive and friendly. The ambience is amazing. I love the windows overlooking the water. I will definitely be back as often as I can.

I went with my wife yesterday for dinner at Vue at EB Elliots using a groupon certificate. We were seated quickly although without the elevator it was a long walk upstairs to the dining area. We ordered for starters a personal pizza and a Ceasar salad. The salad was excellent but the personal pizza was overpriced at 11.00.We then ordered a burger and a 1.25 lb lobster for dinner. Both the burger and the lobster were good however it seemed although responsive at times that our server was clueless. We asked for a lobster fork to eat the lobster which at first she had no idea what it was. Service at times was slow even though the restaurant was almost empty. The price to value ratio is around average for this type of restaurant in this location. All in all this was a good experience and I look forward to returning in the near future.

One of the only places open on the mile during the winter. This place has been here for years and somehow I finally got a chance to stop in. Great food and service

Well, I dined here awhile back and thought it was a pleasant dining experience. Nothing great but food was decent and atmosphere was upbeat.
However, I today I purchased a Groupon for this restaurant. So I was expecting the same experience. Didn’t get it this time at all. Now the restaurant is called VUE EB Elliots. The food was not really good at all. The soup was akin to someone opening a jar of pasta sauce and serving it as soup! The menu was boring. I’m not sorry for this review as this restaurant is a nice looking place and a decent location so there’s no reason for boring, inadequate food in this day and age. Hopefully the owners and chef read this and revise the menu to reflect today’s diners expectations.

Great restaurant on the Nautical Mile. This place has great food, drinks, and the ambiance is amazing. Loved it. Definitely coming back.

Have been here a couple times in the past and been disappointed, however, the boat parade was tonight so we figured since it was on the water we would give it another shot. Very pleasantly surprised to find that the it’s been taken over by new ownership and revamped with an entirely new menu. Thank god because it was really in need of it! We had the baked wings which were amazing and tuna appetizer was to die for! My friend Mike had the sirloin that was perfectly prepared. All staff were delightful and very attentive. What a turn around from previous experiences! Will definitely be back for more.

Finally EB Elliotts is back

Rumor has it they are turning into a prime steakhouse with reasonable prices

I have been here twice and both times I have enjoyed myself. First time I came was only for drinks but the second time I also had some of the food but on the bar side. I haven’t actually sat in the restaraunt portion, but I was very satisfied with the bar side service. First off– the drinks were good. The bartenders are not stingy on the alcohol for mixed drinks– so no complaints there. Second I ordered the steak tidbits and it was delicious! I can’t remember if it’s under the appetizer portion of the menu or the regular dishes but either way– it’s a very large portion! Don’t see how it’s an «appetizer» haha. I had to split it. Regardless it was very good! No complaints. We finished it :-) Also, this is the second time I’ve come on a Friday night and they always have some kind of music entertainment. This time it was a live cover band and they were pretty good. The first time it was a DJ who was playing 80’s and 90’s music so that’s A-​OK in my book! LoL Another thing– this place is right on the water so the view is great! In the summertime it’s obviously better because they have a bar out doors as well! My only negative part of this experience this time– had nothing to do with the place itself– but watch out for douchebag idiot long islander customers. Some guy took my seat three times when I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. He kept doing it on purpose. I watched him do it the third time through the window and he laughed as he moved it over to his nasty ass girlfriend. There were tons of empty seats too that he could have taken. Douche. Grown man too! Anyway– overall I do like this place! I’ll be coming back!

I loved this place when it was just EB Elliots. Menu is always fun and the food incredible. Not sure what Vue is or who owns it, but it was quite possibly the worst food I’ve ever had on the Mile. In all fairness the fish my mother ordered was tasty. My husband’s swordfish was overcooked, my father’s dish was missing side items, and my food was, where do I start?
First let me say that our waiter was super sweet. And very accommodating. I ordered the crab and avocado app. Plate sat down in front of me and one of the two ingredients was clearly missing. Poor waiter went back into the kitchen and came out saying the chef said we’re out of avocados… So you just served it anyway? At $ 18 for an appetizer I’d think you’d mention that half the ingredients would be missing. Tasted the crab which lacked seasoning.
The waiter offered to discount the cost and bring something else. So went with my second choice, a $ 16 smoked duck salad with Gorgonzola cheese. What came out was something that looked like canned meat sliced into strips. I don’t eat processed meat, so just ate around it. Again, the waiter offered to discount the salad although I made no negative remarks on it. I guess he realized when I didn’t eat that either there was a problem.
The new menu is unimaginative. Food not worth the price. Wil not be returning.

Great place. Had a burger and a beer with the girls on Tuesday. It was karoke night. We did not sing but enjoyed watching. Tried a summer beer while it was still available. Good. The burger was great. Highly recommend. Give it a try. A Nautical Mile staple.

Food was really great… atmosphere was also nice (we sat outside but on the upper balcony). More on the $ side but a good meal/​place for a date night!

Best place on the mile hands down. Classy! Great ownership, service, staff, food and VIEW. Cleanest restaurant and the most enjoyable place to hangout if you want to relax and have a couple drinks with friends on the water. Grabbing drinks from inside and then stepping out to talk on the balcony is my favorite. Sometimes there is a live band playing on the boat and it’s fun to watch. Food is AWESOME, I usually just split an order of steak tidbits with my boyfriend at the bar for a quick dinner but on SuperBowl Sunday when I do get to order an entrée I love the Crabmeat stuffed shrimp with jasmine rice. it’s honestly amazing.
They have these touchpads on the walls that allow you sign in your phone number each time you visit, which lets you earn points to get free drinks, apps, etc. Very Cool
Price is definitely right because you get what you pay for (if its a bit too expensive for your taste i suggest catching the happy hour on the weekdays)

We had a blast at «Vue’ by EbElliots on Wednesday night. My friends and I had a girls night and enjoyed almost everything on the small plates menu. Oh and the «wine down Tuesdays» $ 20 bottles of wine all night was brilliant and the selection was perfect for us. We ordered a bunch of small plates and we also shared a delicious certified black Angus steak. It melted in your mouth!!! We will definitely be back!

Subpar food. I was excited to go to Nautical Mile as it would have been a first. I had great expectations, but I left underwhelmed. For starters We had the wings and calamari-​this was the WACKEST calamari I’ve ever had. Bland. Small portion and super chewy. For dinner I had the crab stuffed shrimp. The crab stuffing was delicious. The shrimp were tiny. And the rest of the dish was basic. Family had the chicken, pasta with mussels and fish (forget which fish). Everyone was disappointed. It was just not great and only borderline good. I would not recommend.

I enjoyed my experience at «Vue» by EB Elliot’s. I am not really sure what the difference is between what was formerly just known as «EB Elliot’s» and «Vue» by EB Elliot’s, except maybe a slightly updated menu and new ownership? Maybe?
I went last weekend for the first time since last summer, and our food was good. The drinks were pretty pricey, jacking our bill up ~$ 80 dollars for 6 drinks. Really, «Vue»? $ 13 dollars for a teeeeny tiny margarita??? Ugh.
I would say entrees range between $ 20 – 35 dollars which I guess is normal for a seafood restaurant on the Nautical Mile. The food here is definitely better than all of the other restaurants I’ve tried on this strip — less greasy, more interesting options than your typical «fish and chips» you’ll get anywhere else. I got the crab stuffed shrimp and it was good. A lot of crab on large shrimp. I was already sort of full from the marg’s and the buffalo calamari (DELICIOUS, MUST TRY!!) so I forced it all down but it was very good. I probably would have enjoyed it more on a less full belly.
The best part was NO WAIT. Every other restaurant on the mile that I called had an hour long wait. We didn’t wait at all to be seated, but considering the restaurant wasn’t that crowded, we shouldn’t have had to wait as long as we did to get served. Not sure what the hold up was, i really just think our waiter forgot to put our order in.
I will definitely be back, but I will likely have a drink elsewhere before dropping $ 13 per beverage at VUE.

Service was awesome, food is very good and with three hungry kids it was great the food came out so fast.

It’s ok. It’s way over priced, but that’s what you get. The bar area is full of a bunch of over ahed meatheads that are desperately clinging on to their OBI or Patty McGee days.
Unless it’s summer, why would you want to overspend for less than avg food? Nice servers upstairs.

Had the most delicious lobster ravioli last night with a sauce full of chucks of lobster and crab.
The raw tuna app is always fresh and I love that it comes mixed with avocado giving it a lovely texture
Prices are always reasonable.

I have never had a bad experience here. We just came back from having a nice impromptu lunch and it was delicious. I had a Cobb salad and my fiancé had a tuna wrap. Both were excellent and fresh. The grilled chicken was very flavorful and not dry (like most places I’ve been to).
We also had our daughter’s baptism this year on May 25^th in the upstairs room and the service and food were AMAZING! Deny (the event planner/​manager) made sure everything was in its place and all the servers were attentive and friendly. My guests left very happy with the experience and enjoyed the food very much. And the view was just an added bonus.
We are looking at having my daughters 1^st birthday at EB Elliot’s because of the great experience with Deny, the staff and the delicious food.
I never give a place 5 stars but this place deserves every star.
