A fun little place to stop by for some beverages during your visit to Surfside. Although I’ve never launched a fishing trip out of here (yet), it appears to have everything I need to get me going. The live music is always entertaining, as is watching the fishing charters return with their catch.

We run by here from time to time when getting some bait for our fishing trips. We are not deep-​water fishers but like to come by here to get some squid and shrimp. We usually snag a drink and some chips too. Bait prices are pretty good and they run a good and clean shop.

One of the most convenient places for getting out into deep water, where you can put a boat in, and buy most everything that you need to get off-​shore.
Be warned it gets very busy at weekends, and that is where it loses a star or two. They would really benefit from someone to chivvy the rude, inexperienced or just plain dumb people who can occupy a ramp for 20 minutes while there is line waiting to get in or out.
Other than that a fairly typical Gulf Coast bait camp experience, with lots of yellow beer and frozen sardines.
