Habitat for Humanity Freeland Store

Habitat Store Freeland opened the end of December 2011 and has been going strong since. If you are looking for gently used furniture, art work, appliances (large), cabinetry, plumbing supplies, builder supplies, electrical supplies, paint and some tools, this is a great place to start before going to the hardware store or lumber yard. Staffed by a bunch of volunteers, we have found the atmosphere light and helpful. We go in all the time. The other day a friend needed to replace a light fixture. We went to Habitat and here was the same fixture for $ 2.00. We saved a big trip to Home Depot and got the fixture for ¹⁄₁₀^th the price of a new one. I have gone in looking for plumbing and electrical parts with great success. They are open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 to 5. Go check them out across from Payless Foods and Ace Hardware.
