First time here I will have to say it’s very good. I had the seafood pasta the fish was not fresh but not was still good. I tried everyone’s food and it was really great I will give it another shot

Breakfast Heaven! Ok, where to start? Excellent service, delicious coffee, amazing home fries, perfect omelets and all while watching classic’s on the TV’s — yes, this is my favorite breakfast place! Too much food but usually can’t help myself — take the leftovers home now I have to give lunch a try! Definitely recommend you stopping in — so worth the trip!

Hubby and I came here to eat pizza. walked in the door and everything. but on Mondays I guess thought they are closed they are open as an extension of Terrace Bagels. Anyway I will review Fredo’s as a actual Pizza Place but since it is one in the same. Terrace was okay. We would go back. Sandwiches were good and most priced under $ 10.00 wait staff was polite and attentive.

Great place. Cozy little bring your own place with good prices and great food. Italian icons all around with Italian music in the background. Great bagels and coffee in their breakfast shop next door also.

Should have listened to recent reviews. Been going here on and off since before they became fredos. So decided to see for myself this weekend. it was nothing like it used to be. Got my favorite the chicken Marsala and the Sauce was tasteless and served like soup. The chicken was still soft, didn’t need a knife, so I still ate it. I told the waiter when I got the bill and after going to the back, he said they have a new chef, and should have told them earlier and they would have fixed it. No, they should have fixed it before serving it. Night and day difference between before and now. Quality vs diner taste. Not going back.

Used to be a solid breakfast option, but sadly, things have changed. Prices went up, quality and portions have decreased. Waited 25 minutes for an omelette, we were the first ones in the restaurant. Asked for fruit as a replacement for potatoes, received 3 grapes and 2 pieces of watermelon. Lucky for them, they are located in a place where they can still thrive regardless of performance, with a large amount of customers from the Perkins overflow. Breakfast is usually the most inexpensive and quickest meal of the day. At Fredo’s, it has become the opposite. At the end of Godfather II, Fredo dies. The same might happen to your customer base if you continue to disappoint people.

I wish I could put zero stars but it won’t let me. I was here 2 days ago. All the prices went up and portions became smaller. I come here all the time and this will be the last. They gave me a skillet and the potatoes were inedible salty, changed it to just eggwhites and they were overcooked. It was just me in here n food took 30 min to come out. My girl got a parfait and it was 3 spoonfuls. The reason I even came here for was for the good quality breakfast and a fair price, now they get it backwards. So bye terrace and family. I will no longer support you. The one star I give you is for your Snapple collection. Brett Michaels is my favorite

The food was excellent but for what I would consider an UPSCALEPIZZERIA i think the prices are too high. Again the food was execllent but $ 72 for 4 dishes of pasta and a couple of apps and 4 glasses of soda I think is a bit too much. I owudl eat there again ppl are friendly atmosphere is casual and amusing ut again think the prices are high for what you get but the portions are LARGE

We went here for breakfast and this time it was a lot better! For breakfast, I had 2 eggs over easy with potatoes and bagel. It was pretty good. Daughter had the Eggs Florentine on a bagel. She had the eggs and I had her bagel. It was terrific with all that egg goodness sopped into the bagel! :). She also had a side of fruit which wasn’t sweet except for the grapes. Our favorite part of the meal was the bagel chips served with our meal. It was freshly made and just the right amount of garlic! Service was friendly and fast.

I actually didn’t mind the décor at all. I thought it was kind of cute. The food, on the other hand… The best part of the meal was the bread and olive oil. The buffalo calamari was extremely over salted, the mozzarella en carroza was tasteless. I had the chicken parmigiana. The chicken appeared to be some sort of «formed» meat product containing pieces of dark and white meat and had a strange taste and consistency. It was most certainly NOT a chicken breast. My daughters Alfredo and my wife’s carbonara were both also too heavily salted. We wanted to try a new place but will not be going back here again. We’ll stick with Federici’s.

Very interesting place. I actually don’t hate it. When I was told we were meeting here I immediately scoped out Unilocal and the website. Website is hilarious and it’s just an appetizer for what the restaurant itself looks like. There are four flat screens playing mob movies, mob character cartoons line all the walls and old school music is played. They have whole wheat pasta and you can order pastas in large or small sizes. I got a large and it was to much I took a good amount home. All of our food was great. Would def go back. Nice place to take the family.

When I saw the tacky décor I figured that the food can’t be good. I was wrong! Good food and good service keep me coming back. And now I even like the décor and the mob movies on the TVs. Food: Good to Very good. Value: Very good. Service: Friendly and helpful. BYOB I keep coming back.

The waiter we had got angry when I asked if I could get one of the dishes in a different sauce. My friend got the«shrimp luger». When we asked the waiter what sauce it was in, he said, «steak sauce». It was basically shrimp, tomatoes, and cucumbers drenched in this… I don’t even know what it was. It tasted like cocktail sauce, but the shrimp was floating in it. My friend asked to describe the Marsala sauce, and he said, «brown». He didn’t know a lot about the dishes and did not give good answers to our questions. My meal wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t something you would order again. Afterwards, my friend who had ordered the, «tuna salad» was stuck in the bathroom for an hour. I would not recommend coming here despite the good reviews.

Definitely a 4 star restaurant when considering the quality of food and price. The menu selections are excellent… anything from a panini to seafood fra diavolo. The veal entrees are all outstanding(yes i’ve had them all). The fried calamari is one of the best I’ve had. All pasta entrees can be served as a full plate, or a half plate(for half the price). A half is plenty of food. Tons of appetizer choices. The dress is casual, its BYOB, always playing Mobster movies on the TVs, and you won’t break the bank eating here. Great quality of food, NOT expensive… If you are a 10 – 15 min drive from Freehold, it’s definitely a place to come.

I have eaten at Fredo’s twice, and each time I have eaten there, the food has been delicious. I always get the baked penne. Sweet sauce with fresh cheese. Cheese is baked to perfection, and the meal arrives piping hot. Bread is served hot and fresh, with olive oil and red vinegar. Within Monmouth County, definitely by far, the best restaurant. Prices are very good, so you won’t have to worry about plugging your rear-end. I’d be excited to try the Pizza as well, since the baked penne was outstanding. Super 70’s music plays in the background from xm radio. Really great station, and cool place. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Unbelievable.

Great food, great atmosphere, excellent staff, excellent service, limited menu, BYOB. The food is great — everything on the menu that I tried(and I tried almost everything) is outstanding. My favorites are the baked clams, tuna, shrimp pizza, rice ball, all the veal dishes and the mussels. The atmosphere is great, dining is casual but get there early or you will have to wait.

I’ve eaten here a few times — always loved the food, and the service is always good. We even went at 9pm on Valentine’s Day one year without a reservation, and even though they were mad busy, they gave us a table at the end of the night and we had a great dinner. When the waiter found out I was vegan, he recommended something that wasn’t on the menu — pasta with artichokes, eggplant and other veggies. Well, I love artichokes and eggplant, so I ordered that and it was fantastic, so that’s what I always order. The pasta with mushrooms(forget what it’s called) is also excellent.
