Great value for your price, I got a pedicure there and they were very nice and personable

I’ve been going to this salon for about 5 years now and Micheal is the best. Very friendly and if there happens to be a issue with my nails, he fixes it no matter what. I find that to be good customer service.

i got a plain manicure here. A day later i got a infection in my nail. Obviously that means they are not clean. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE!!!

The only reason I came here was because someone gave me a gift certificate otherwise I would not have gone. I think they are rude, not accommodating at all. Wait time is crazy even when you have an appointment. Not to mention the woman who was doing my pedicure was literally falling asleep. I had to clear my throat LOUDLY a few times to keep her falling asleep and ruining my nails. Never again!!!

Staff is incredibly rude!!! Was told to wait 10 minutes and 45 minutes later I was still waiting being told another 20 minutes. Will NEVER come back here again!!! Will take my business elsewhere

Unfortunately my experience wasn’t what my friends and affiliates said it would be. While I was greeted rather kindly, the guy who did my nails, was kind of awful and rude. First, while I asked him for a new set and asked him to take off the old ones — he clipped off the old acrylics. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem except he clipped so deep that he broke my actual nail bed and made me bleed. But I think what irked me the most was the amount of times I had to explain to him what design I wanted and I had to constantly show him pictures and tell him over and over again. I asked him before I even sat down «Are you able to do this for me?» and he said yes… until it was actually time to do them. From then on he was acting confused & kept making «tsk» noises like he was annoyed at ME for choosing something so intricate. Mind you, all I asked for was a negative space nail and small, simple silver designs. Even his co worker next to him looked over and was like «What did you ask him to do?» like I had asked him to do the hardest possible design on the planet! Not to mention I actually had to CHANGE from what I really wanted because he literally said to me «No, that’s too much. I’m not doing that because I don’t have time.» By far the worst first impression I could’ve been left with. Now I just have to watch my broken nail so that it doesn’t get infected and I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back here.

I want to be honest here… the staff here are nice. But when I was a first timer here, it was not too accommodating. The waiting time is ridiculous even though you had an appointment. But anyway… after my 3^rd and the following visits and after bring some of family members, they became friendly. I guess because I became a loyal customer perhaps? But don’t get me wrong… the service is great! I love the way they do my nails, nearly perfect! Or should I say… they’re perfectly done!

I never thought I’d be reviewing a nail salon, but the service I had today was phenomenal. I had a very specific look in mind, and usually when I go into a salon I feel like I’m being an annoyance asking for my nails a specific way. Today, this was not the case. I told Lisa what I was looking for and she happily told me that she would be able to do it and every step of the way asked if she was doing the process the way I hoped. Her willingness to work with me resulted in my nails being the best I think I’ve had them in years — and I will definitely be going back here. She made me feel comfortable and the finished product was amazing!

I came here with a friend of mine whom I hadn’t seen in a year, and I was hoping we could do something fun, like get our nails done together — What a mistake!
Upon arriving, we put our names on the wait list, and when we were finally called, I still needed to wait quite a while before my manicurist arrived. Even though there was an empty station right next to me, they placed my friend at the other end of the salon — so much for spending time together. When my manicurist finally did approach the nail station, he did not acknowledge me AT ALL. No eye contact was made, no conversation. He placed a bowl of soapy water down, and then walked away. Turns out, he had to re-​do his previous clients pedicure — she smudged it. He didn’t tell me this, or get someone else to do my nails, I just sat there, totally ignored while I watched my friend across the room get her nails done.
Finally, the manicurist returned, no apologies for the wait, just abruptly took my hand and started cutting off my nails. He didn’t ask them what length I wanted them, or how I wanted them shaped — to me very basic questions. I attempted to request something specific — he grunted. He spent the entire time with his eyes trained on the «doorway», and was incredibly abrupt and dismissive. The best part — the water he brought to soak my hands in was cold by the time he got around to putting my hands in.
Towards the end of the manicure, the top coat he applied was so old and thick, it started to bubble as it dried. You know what? I could have done the same thing for myself (probably better) at home. I pay to be pampered, and while I don’t need or expect 5 star treatment from this location, I don’t need to be treated rudely and dismissively either.

If zero stars was an option, I would give them zero. This was by far the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. After searching on Unilocal for a nail salon near me, I saw this place had a good rating and thought I would try it out.
I walked in to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The man who did my pedicure rushed the service and did not ask how I wanted my pedicure and the next thing I knew, my toe nails vanished to points below my skin line. He initially painted the wrong color and I informed him that that was not my choice color. He proceeded to tell me I was wrong and I chose that.
My gel manicure did not live up to the expectations of other reviews on Unilocal.He did not cut my cuticles or file my nails like I asked. I repeatedly asked for shorter finger nails and he flat out refused. He painted the wrong colors on my fingers as well and walked off without fixing it.
I told him I needed my eyebrows waxed before he walked off and he told me he would get a female to help me. 15 minutes went by before anyone at the salon even approached me to see if I needed help. There was only 2 other people in the salon with ten people working.
The service and the quality of the product at Exotic is absolutely by far the worst I have ever had. Re-​think before you go!

! My nails always look great. Loni and Mike along with all their staff are so friendly. They have tons of polish, gel polish, to choose from and the air brush designs are awsome. No matter what mood im in or if im there for fills or pedi im always happy. The quality of work it top of the line.
Ive been going there since i was 15 years old. Ive traveled from 30min away, passing a million other places. In now 31 and have started my next generation of customer at the age of 3 LOL my daughter abby.

So. I’m a reformed acrylic user who got a tip from a friend to go to Exotic Nails. The night before my appointment I totally butchered my nails by trying to take the acrylic of myself. (FAIL)
I came in and was greeted by the super friendly staff and asked if I needed anything. When they sat me down, she helped me seal the broken nails and told me next time that they could soak it off for me. She was so sweet and polite and my nails ended up looking FANTASTIC!!!
I had a wonderful experience and set my next appointment for next month. Its a week after, and my gel mani still looks as awesome as the day I got it done. I got one color, 4 glitter nails, and an extension on nail (that broke) and it came to about 45. Normally I would freak, but gel really is a great way to keep your nails healthy, beautiful, and less prone to breakage. Exotic Nails has my stamp of approval 100%

Love this place! Well worth the 45 minute drive to get my nails done. They have the best designs I have seen in the 10 years of getting my nails done. Very clean and friendly staff.

Nice place to walk in and even as a guy felt totally comfortable. My wife and I got pedicures together and it was relaxing.
