This is a nice little Hallmark in Freehold. They have a decent size store and a good selection of cards and other knick knacks that you could be looking for. It’s pretty much my go to when I’m going to pick up a card for a holiday or event. The staff here is very nice as well. I haven’t been to many card stores where the staff offers to help find the right card. I like going here because the selection is larger than what you can find say in the Wal-​Mart of Target card sections, since it’s a dedicated gift shop. Pricing is no more than what you would pay anywhere else and they even have super cheap cards if you are looking to just add something to a gift or need something simple. Note that the parking lot is usually cramped from the attached Gamestop and Starbucks as well.

This is my local Hallmark store. It is a huge store that sells everything you could imagine a Hallmark store might have. I’m not really a big fan of Hallmark cards. The cards are usually lame with the same old corny greetings in them. They are also waaaaaaaay overpriced! As for everything else, the gift items are pretty cool. On those occasions when you don’t know what to get, odds are you can find something related to the occasion here. The parking lot is a little tight and you will be competing for a spot with Starbucks and Gamestop. At Christmas time, finding a spot and not having someone hit your car can be quite a challenge!

So, I go through the door and I go WOW. The staff is so friendly, so smiley, so helpful! True costumer service. The ladies greeted me with a smile, helped me find a perfect birthday card and made sure the line to pay was quick. When everything is going soooo great and I’m soooo impressed with their attitude, the lady at the counter goes: «We are doing a survey about our services and if we were able to wow you today, please call this number…».
Argh! I got so disappointed and so heartbroken. It was all fake! I’ll still give them a 4 star review because they really helped me.
