Worst caramel macchiato I have ever had at a Starbucks. Tasted like they replaced the espresso with flat Dr. pepper and then proceeded to add dish soap and milk. They would have received 3 stars had they not ignored me at the register while everyone on the floor was restocking cups. It is not your job to wait until it is convenient for YOU to take the customers order… PLEASE someone help this location on training their baristas on both making drinks as well as how to maintain proper and simple customer service skills. Sorry to be so blunt. But someone’s got to be honest here. I will not be returning anytime soon.

We went in here and it was Not busy. 3 employees working and the talked the entire time. It’s took Forever to get our drinks. They didn’t care about anything and even when I was standing at the register the employee looked right at me and didn’t say a thing. Just kept socializing. Never again.

What a horrible experience at the Freedom Starbucks in Watsonville today. It was on Friday 2÷12÷16 at about 5:30pm. We stopped in to try the new Molten Chocolate drinks and I’m not even sure the barista at the register knew what we were talking about even though the drinks were up on the menu. The worst part was the girl who was making the drinks was eating whip cream from a cup in the middle of making our drinks. She would go blend something and then eat whip cream, then pour the drink in the cup, then go eat more whip cream, and then put a lid on the cup, and then go eat whip cream before finally handing off the drink. That’s really unsanitary! All she could talk about was this amazing whip cream she was eating and was encouraging all her coworkers to try it. When she wasn’t talking about the whip cream, she was talking about the Tiger roll she ate the other day. There was no sign of customer service. No «hello» and definitely no «thank you.» No basic customer service skills at all. I suggest that the manager of this Starbucks teach their crew to pay attention to their customers in the store rather than eating whip cream. Oh, and the best part was that the wait for the drinks took forever. Great job, Starbucks on Freedom!

This Starbucks closes late and the crew can get through a long line pretty quickly so I’ll give them props for that. However the way your drink is made is often a coin flip. I frequently get a Green Tea Frap, sometimes they make it perfectly(a nice balance of sweetness and liquidy) or other times it tastes almost flavorless and downright bland. The female employees tend to talk really loudly, almost borderline screaming, and can sometimes be pretty rude.

Not the best Starbucks I’ve been to but the staff here is really friendly and they close late and I think that deserves major points! The sugar/milk area isn’t always clean, the entrances are a bit odd, and the Pike place is really strong and kind of bitter so I’d stick with the specialty drinks here. But I prefer this one to the one next to or inside Target and it’s in a very convenient shopping center. To me customer service comes first and this place certainly has it.

Still out of mango for the mango black tea lemonade, its been a week. The blonde girl who works there is very rude to the customers. After telling me that they didn’t have the mango, she decided not to help me anymore until someone else came over to get my order. Then she was rude to another customer when she made his order wrong.

I love Starbucks I always go to the one in downtown Santa Cruz and they are super friendly any Starbucks in SC has an awesome friendly staff but here in Watsonville is the total opposite. My very berry hibiscus tasted anything but that and the vanilla bean that I ordered with extra Carmel drizzle didn’t have any Carmel and when I pointed it out the girl she rolled her eyes at me and whispered something to her co worker and both just stared at me and rolled their eyes I’m never coming back here at all worst experience I had

One of the worst Starbucks I have been to in regards to service. Baristas often ignore customers in line. They fail to put cardboard insert on extremely hot drinks or offer spill protector. Or fail to mark which coffee is which when 2 different orders. You are better off walking to the Safeway Starbucks 500 feet away.

As someone from out of town who comes to Watsonville twice a week and on the way stops at many Starbucks this by far has been the worst one thus far. Aside from that, I had a really awkward and annoying experience here with one of the«shift leads» she was mopping the lobby and inside of asking nicely for everyone in line to get closer to the pastry case she yelled out«I need everyone to move, come on, more, more…». It was so awkward with everyone. I’m sure I’m not the only one who felt like I was in being yelled at by a grumpy cafeteria lady. And this isn’t the first time she’s rude.

This place use to be my favorite Starbucks in town but lately the service has been crappy. The last three times I’ve been there they’ve messed up my order. Today was my nephews graduation and we went to get a vanilla bean frapp with caramel && they didn’t add caramel. When we told the barista(Alex) he said well next time tell the cashier because we charge extra. Like hello I did pay check the damn cup, I did pay extra and the guy who took the order wrote it on the cup. To top it off they had me wait 15 minutes for a cup of decaf coffee. Like really 15 minutes. Way to go with your customer service.

3⁄5 stars because the three stars goes to the actual coffee drinks I get there. –2 stars for the staff. Went in today and the line was huge, only 2 people working(one at cashier and one making the beverages). The barista was getting trained but it was hardly any training at all coming from the girl at the register. Then, she left to go «wash dishes» in the back and left people at the register waiting while he had to make all the drinks by himself. Really? That’s not good costumer service and all. Additionally, she was very chatty with a person she knew ordering a drink earlier before she left to wash dishes so that just had make the line longer.

I was having a bad day… and the day before another place had badly made my espresso… it was expired(for those who know what I mean) and tasted nasty. So I walk into this Starbucks(which I hadent been to in a while since it wasn’t on my route anymore) and I was welcomed by name by Nancy Vanessa and Bernice. Even though I haden’t been there in a while they remembered my drink too and to make it better they offered to remake me the messed up drink from the day before at no charge just because they want every Starbucks expirence to be good. I really was impressed by this and no matter what I goto this one now even if it’s totally out of the way just because of this kind of treatment. Thanks alot guys!

Okay first of all, I have to start with saying that I used to HATE going to this Starbucks a year ago! The service was super slow, very cold and mechanical, and if I ever expected to get my drink quickly because I was the only one in line, I was always very devastatingly mistaken. …HOWEVER(a BIG however!), in the past year, this Starbucks location has gotten it’s shit together amazingly! The service is now super prompt, warm and friendly. I love not having to worry about if I’ll have time to grab coffee before work or not now. It used to be super embarrassing explaining to my boss that I was late because Starbucks was slow with my order. Just sayin’. Thank you guys for stepping it up and turning yourselves in to my favorite coffee stop!

The BF could not wait after hitting the gun range to get some Starbucks. The soy chai was the usual. no complaints. Quick service
